A Doctor of Podiatric Medicine....do you have a recommendation for the Arroyo Grande/SLO area??
Julie F. replied:
Steven J. Clark, DPM. He's in the Medical buildings in Pismo near James Way and Oak Park. 481-9100
Kate C. replied:
Scott Adams is wonderful.
Shannon S. replied:
Dr Christopher Byrne.... he's the best one out there... located in SLO
Trudy J. replied:
Dr. Adams in AG on Halycon near the hospital seems good.
Jessi C. replied:
Steve Clarke. Great Dr. There are two Steve Clark's in the area though so make sure you choose the podiatrist.
Stacy G. replied:
Glenn Hoving has a great foot doctor .... I can't remember his name.
Mientje D. replied:
Chris Byrne got less than "A" reviews online and multiple podiatry offices in SLO actually referred us to Clark in AG for Mark's foot surgery... So we're making the trek to AG...
Nancy A. replied:
Chris Byrne, he's good
Peggy H. replied:
Scott Adams or Steven Clark.
Darlene M. replied:
Chris Byrne, absolutely!
Rhonda D. replied:
Dr.Richard Norman!
Margaret G. replied:
Dr Scott Adams in slo marigold center and I think another office in AG
Glenn H. replied:
Dr. Steve Clark in Pismo Beach...
Tim S. replied:
Dr. Brian O'Carroll in Pismo
Daphne F. replied:
Dr. Chris Byrne in Slo. He also serves as the doc for Cal Poly athletics in his spare time.
Jacque L. replied:
Brian O'Carroll is great...just did 2 nd surgery on 90 yr. old mom....very conservative too.
Victoria L. replied:
I like Dr Byrne as well. He just did toe surgery on my son and did a great job!
Does anyone in this group have a primary physician they love? Obviously, someone who doesn't try and shove pharma's at you would be great. We really just need someone to...
Janine A. replied:
Dr. Johnie Ham in Pismo, he's so wonderful and caring.
Steven W. replied:
I have not been to this medical office, several fiends have, like much...if I needed a doc this is were I'd go; http://www.middlepathmedicine.com/index.html
Julie R. replied:
Laureen, have you gone to see Dr. Ham yet? If so, what did you think? I want to send my husband to a general practicioner, but wondering what his approach on alternative medicine is. I know he does OB/GYN, but he doesn't just do women, right?
Mindi R. replied:
I would like to get Laureen 's opinion on Dr. Ham, too. Had my hubby call to set me up an appointment with him yesterday.
Laureen W. replied:
Just got back from Dr. Ham. We were looking for someone to help guide her post-cancer - what now? damage from radioactive iodine? detox? Also, someone she'll listen to regarding diet b/c it sure isn't mom, of course. Pretty sure we've found him. He is very compassionate, easy to talk to, actually listened to our fears, and spent a solid hour with us. Thumbs up!
Julie R. replied:
My sister sees Dr. Foresman in that office...haven't heard her complain about him. I've heard great things about Dr. Fine & Dr. Marquist in Pismo/AG. I believe they're both chiropractors, but most people I know see them for homeopathic services. I believe neither take insurance, hence why I haven't started going to them myself, otherwise I would!
Laureen W. replied:
Thanks - I've heard conflicting reports on Forseman. I know Dr. Fine - he's great but I'm not sure if a homeopath can make a referral? We do have a great Naturopath, Lindsay Donahue, it's having to go through the whole "medical/insurance" model is out of my comfort zone and we need referral to a neurologist.
Kendra K. replied:
Not sure if you need more referrals. Dr Fitchmun is an MD in Pismo. BTW, Dr Fine is a licensed Naturopath, just chooses not to use most of the tools NDs utilize - he prefers Homeopathy.
Laureen W. replied:
Thanks, Kendra! I think we're going to give Dr. Ham a try.
