Vicki, give us a call!! 828 255 0936. You would love Dr. Willoughby! She's so not like other dentists. She doesn't try to "sales pitch" you. Plus she's a doggie lover too! ;)
Leslie E. replied:
Kim Walters, Optix Eye Care
Cheryl C. replied:
Greg Godley is my dentist(Weaverville) and I really like him.
Marvelene L. replied:
Dr Maddox is a great dentist. Asheville Asthetic Dental Partners I think is the name of the office
Chris H. replied:
Dr Godley and Dr Walters
Sheila K. replied:
Dr. Toomey, its worth the drive!
Roger B. replied:
The most painless dentist I know about is Dr. Snyder in Mars Hill. She is in the office with Dr. Steen.
Sharon B. replied:
Brandi Buckner can hook you up with a good dentist
Doug C. replied:
I have Dr Walters as my optometrist. She is great. She saved my life.
Can anyone recommend an eye doctor? I really need glasses!
Jason C. replied:
my dude is Dr. Julian Crowder in candler. He's cool and pretty cheap.
Christine A. replied:
Steven Satterfield, Primary Eye Care. Really sweet and very good doc.
RJ W. replied:
Get the exam as cheap as you can find, then go to zennioptical.com for glasses. You could get 10 pairs of glasses for what you'd pay at the optometrists. Just make sure to get your pupillary distance measured.
Looking for a great pediatric ophthalmologist in Asheville. Asheville Eye (Dr. Wiggins) is booked until August and I would love to get Alizabeth in before then. ...
Tracy S. replied:
Dr Jeff Goldstein is an opthalmic pastic surgeon who saw Ruthie when she was less than 2 ...He does comprehensive opthalmology as well..Obviously she needed surgery as well but he was excellent with her vision and surgery.
Kristin H. replied:
Dr. VanKirk doesn't take our insurance....geez.
Elizabeth G. replied:
Vankirk is good...does it have to be Asheville? Dr Shaller in franklin is great he is in with vankirk but at the franklin location
April M. replied:
Dr Killian with Asheville optical is great. They have offices in Sylva and Fanklin (he is here or there twice a wk).
Jamel A. replied:
Dr T in sylva was good with my kids. His name is very different. Can't spell it.
Shelley Q. replied:
Dr Bashinsky with Asheville eye. She she's both my boys and has seen Bentley since he was in the NICU! She is wonderful!
Kelly D. replied:
I see Dr. Killian too, I don't think he is specifically pediatric but I like him. Did Toledo refer you to Wiggins?
Ashley W. replied:
We see Dr. Bashinsky also she is great !
Kristin H. replied:
Kelly, Dr. Toledo referred us to Asheville Eye. The first appointment for a 2 1/2 year old is with Dr. Wiggins in August at any location! Kind of frustrated. Adam called too, and they put us on a cancellation list. The appointment is on our first workday!!!
Tanya M. replied:
We waited on Dr. wiggins waiting list for 3 months and now see Dr. Schultz at Asheville Eye. We love him! He is awesome with kids and has a MUCH better personality than Dr Wiggins! I wasn't impressed after waiting so long....we really like Dr Schultz!
Asheville friends: I'm looking for an ophthalmologist for my daughter. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
Carlie R. replied:
I really like Dr. Bruce Pope at L'Optique on Wall Street. Klim uses him and gets glasses elsewhere since they tend to be rather pricey - but Dr. Pope is very thorough.
Lori K. replied:
Jeffrey Goldstein.
Cassie W. replied:
Dr. Wiggins at Asheville Eye Assoc. is good but it takes a long time to get in with him. If it is just for glasses, I'd go elsewhere--but if you really need a good doctor to help with an eye problem, I thought he was very knowledgable and professional.
Asheville friends--any recommendations for a good eye doctor? Preferably not Asheville Eye Associates, they are nice people but the wait time is ridiculous!
Evelyn K. replied:
Hey Julie! I don't cover Asheville with Alcon but my counterpart says Carolina OPH is good. Dr Bryan or VanKirk. Hope y'all are well!!!
Leslie S. replied:
Steven Satterfield
Julie N. replied:
Thanks to you both!! Ya'll I was there for two and a half hours!! Evelyn Rhea Knight did you cover Eyecare Specialties of Charleston (Dr. Elliot)? I miss them! They were so efficient and personable!:( Thanks Leslie Starkey as well, I am totally looking into them!!
Evelyn K. replied:
I don't...I only call on Ophthalmology not Optometry. But his sister (also Dr Elliott) is one of my doctors. That's probably why the wait was so long at Asheville Eye...the MD practices tend to have lots more patients than the ODs. It stinks!!!! Have a good weekend!!
I have a question for all my wonderful facebook friends. I am looking for a good eye doctor to go to. Anyone have any suggestions? I went last year but had a bad...
Chrissy W. replied:
Dr. Victor Newton at Tunnel vision. He's the best in Asheville
Kevin L. replied:
Carolina Optical in Arden. Went there yesterday and they are good.....real nice and friendly too!
Sharon M. replied:
Asheville Eye on Merrimon.
Sharon M. replied:
Told you wrong, Carolina Eye Care on Merrimon, Asheville Eye is off Sweeten Creek.
