this one looks good, I've been seeing a NUCCA doc for 1.5 years and it's been amazing: http://www.wellspringbodybalance.com/portfolio-item/dr-jordan-weeda-dc they're different because they just move the top vertebrae and everything else gradually falls into place, so it's more permanent and less impact than normal chiro. &yeah: my knee does pop a lot less now, even though the doc never worked on it directly.
Cornflower L. replied:
Ditto Seth & Shelly... NUCCA! The way to go brother. http://www.wellspringbodybalance.com/portfolio-item/dr-timothy-march

Good morning Ashland!, wondering if anyone knows of a Chiropractor in Ashland or Medford that accepts either private insurance such as BC/BS or OHP Allcare. Thanks!

love me some Mark and Matt at Southern Oregon Sports and Spine. Been here forever, Matt is the newer one. I have been to both and love them. Their staff is great-front office and massage folks. In the 10 years that I have been going to them, I do not have one issue with them. I love that they are kooky and comforting..esp for men!

Hey Southern Oregon, can anyone recommend a doctor, naturopath or chiropractor who is skilled in treating lower back issues? Any leads are greatly appreciated.
Sage M. replied:
Mark Adams at Adam's Chiropractic fixed my husband. He went from not being able to walk to being totally fine in one visit. Every case is different but we were pretty impressed, and thankful. Yesterday at 2:40 am

Cathy C. replied:
I go to Cynthia Wright but I'm not sure she is taking new patients. I've heard the man in that office is very good. Hands on Healing is the business name. Ben Stott (Three Harmonies Acupuncture) is just excellent and he's a Colstinite.
Shelley A. replied:
Prema Belly on A Street. Fixed my lower back issues. Mark adams and Kelly Lange are fab chiropractors. Rose Acupuncture in Medford -- he's great too! Caryn Jacobson for massage is amazing also.
Kit L. replied:
Kelly Lange is Karen's daughter in case you forgot the OSF connection. You might check with Brad G, too. He left work because of a bad back.
Heather B. replied:
Kelly Lange or Mark Logan

I like David Heller between Oak and Pioneer, and A & B.

Ashland friends: I'm looking for a good chiropractor. Any recommendations?
Alejandra E. replied:
Kelly Lange at Hands on Wellness. She's awesome!
Justin A. replied:
Kelly is great. Her partner Casey Frieder is good too.
Sarah D. replied:
Casey Frieder is awesome! He is the first chiropractor I've been to in my entire adult life who finally accurately diagnosed what the hell has been going on with my hip. Not only that but he's been able to get my hip free of pain and teach me things to do to prevent the pain from coming back. Plus he's a really nice guy, a local dad, and really smart.

My favorite chiropractor is no longer practicing. She is amazing and low/no force. I didn't trust her ways at first because I had previous popper chiros, but was totally converted. So, do you have a preference? Do you want a bone-popper or someone that can reset things gently? Dr. Marc Heller has been in Ashland for quite a while and is well loved. But the DC at Medford Family Chiropractic really pulls at me. I want to start adjustments again, and he seems to offer a holistic approach that really appeals. But, whomever you choose, make sure you can get some sort of deep massage prior to your treatment. When I totally screwed up my back with a sciatic pinched nerve/compressed disc thing going on, the deep tissue massage and TENS made all the difference. Natural medicines helped quite a bit too, more than anything else, but you know all that. Don't push yourself more than you should, take care of you, love you, and find those that will be kind to you too. Ask questions of your providers. If they can't answer, they're not for you. You'll know, Ian. Your intuition is strong. You live on that sh....tuff.
