Dr. Gene Gabianelli with TLC. I have referred patients to him for the last 14 years and have only had to send back 2 or 3 over those years for MILD touch ups. It has been several years since that has happened. At least visit the facility and see what you think. Most places do a free or minimal cost consultation. PM me if you have questions about others. Have heard great things about Woolfson as well, but just don't use them due to great results with TLC.
Am seriously considering LASIK. Anyone who has personally done it and would recommend their doctor...please message me...thanks!

Jason did it -- do you remember? I think he went to Dr. Woodham, but I would need to confirm... It was very simple and he was only down for a day or so... that would be great for you Heather!

Dr Keith Thompson, Emory Eye Clinic, did mine 14 yrs ago. He was one of the doctors who developed the procedure.

DR. Woolfson is great. Have known quite a few people who have gone to him. I had no issues--easy peasy! And seriously life changing. So so glad I did it.

Wussup Heather......I had a specialized version of LASIK called Advanced Surface Ablation because my astigmatism was AWFUL. However, I had the very BEST doctor by the name of W Barry Lee. He is with Piedmont Better Vision. It's the best money I have spent!!!!

David Kinsler with Vistar is awesome if you feel like traveling to VA for your surgery!! Haha! Seriously worth it though. Half way through the procedure (so like five minutes in) I was thinking maybe I didn't want to do it anymore just because it was uncomfortable (not really painful just weird) but I'm DEFINITELY glad I did it. I was out all that day. Brian said he was seriously considering it before he picked me up after the procedure so I guess I was looking a tad rough, but I would still recommend it. Ten minutes of significant discomfort, one or two days on the mend, and like two weeks of lots of eye drops for a lifetime of no more glasses/contacts seems worth it!
OK fbf I'm seriously thinking about having Lasik surgery done.... starting to do some research anyone have Info on a good place to look into?

Woolfson Eye Institute in Stockbridge! That's where both my mum and I had ours done. The staff were great, and if I remember right, it's a lifetime warranty. I think it may be slightly more expensive than others, but your eyes aren't something to mess around with. http://www.woolfsoneye.com/

I had it done about 9 years ago...was the best thing I had done! I had mine done at The Lasik Vision institute by Cobb Galleria

https://www.lasikplus.com/doctor/eugene-smith I think he is considered one of the top in the country. Cost has a lot to do with your current vision/stigamatisms you may have. My wife and I went for a consult to see how much it would be for her and they offered 10% off if we did the surgery the same day as the consult. We took it, grand total was $3200 for both eyes and she had the worst eyes. If you're planning for it remember you can use your FSA/HSA for this.
