My daughter is turning 16 and is requesting home cooked prime rib dinner. Any recommendations for where I can buy a prime rib roast big enough for 7-8 people?
Just did this, and it was crazy-delicious, and so easy to make. I'll follow with the recipe & final-product photos. https://www.facebook.com/michael.ochs.940/posts/10158107554360529?pnref=story
Jewel had Prime Rib Roast on sale (pre-Christmas, sorry) for $5.99 per pound. That's when I bought it quick. I've always found Costco and Dominicks as the best meat, and Sam's Club second best... but no more Dominicks, and I'd still go with the cheapest place, based on grade of meat, and proximity to my house... but I'd still lean toward Costco.

Mariano's 3025 E New York St, Aurora. I purchased a 7 pound prime rib for Christmas dinner. Bone-in $18.99 a pound. Delicious. They also sold boneless. I don't know how much per pound. It was cut for my order. The butchers in the back will cut it for you. Patience has a good idea to call in advance - Mariano's phone number is 630 236 0683.

Thanks for everyone's help! I ended up going to Reams Meat Market in Elburn. This place smells like barbecue heaven. They gave me a beautiful cut of boneless prime rib for $13.99 per lb. I'll definitely be going back.
I second EL guero on Theodore. Fresh flour Tortillas are amazing. Hot food bar (better on weekends) prices are great and they have beautiful produce! They also have a restaurant connected and that's really good too. Chilaquiles verdes...yum! http://www.supermercadoselguero.com/en/
