Does anyone know of a local company that sells premade, healthy lunches/dinners? Not boxed lunches from a national food chain...more like a local Seattle Suttons.

What type of Asian items are you looking for? Naperville has a large Indian population and has several grocery stores. H market is more Chinese/Korean focused I believe. In Schaumburg there is Patel brothers as mentioned above.

Mitsuwa Marketplace in Algonquin!!!!! I love that place! It's an Asian supermarket, bookstore, and has a restaurant area with ramen shops and more.

Anyone know of an Asian grocery store close to the Swedish valley here?
Jaime G. replied:
There's a big one called Super H Mart on Ogden in Naperville. It's the size of a Jewel.
Marc H. replied:
The H Mart is probably the place for you. But plan ahead next time and go out to Mitsuwa in Arlington Heights if you are doing sushi. The fish is expensive, but absolutely top notch, and you don't need much since you eat so much rice. They sell nori at our local Jewel though, and frozen tuna that is usually pretty good (all tuna is frozen to begin with), so with some shrimp, lox and tuna you can make nigiri sushi easily enough just with what's often available nearby. The Fresh Market on Mclean in Elgin is mostly Mexican, but it has a pretty good Asian prepared section, sells fresh Asian produce, and frozen things like potstickers and such in the back. The place onLillian across from the hardware store is indeed more Thai/Laoatian. Only place around here I know of to find lime leaves, but that's about all I go there for now that the Fresh Market has such a good selection. Good luck!
Jill T. replied:
Good luck Andy! I agree with Fresh Market - the one in Geneva Commons has a sushi chef, etc... Otherwise, I make the trek to http://www.mitsuwa.com/english/.
