Pearberr replied:
Any and everywhere. But then again... I wear 17 s so after searching for an hour and finding a million brands that stop at 13 and a few thousand who stop at 15 and a few dozen who stop at 16 I'm completely pissed off and bitter at anybody who wears shoes less than me.
RainbowInTheTrunk replied:
Nordstrom if you have a larger budget. Nordstrom Rack sometimes will have a decent selection. Besides the other mentioned here, spending long time searching google.

Amazon, Zappos, Oddballshoes

Zappos.com may help. Occasionally JC Penney has my size. (I too am a 14-15)

Surprisingly Bigshoes.com also like oddball.com both of whom have 20%off for the holiday weekend

Look up oddball shoes on the Web. It's a couple big guys that get all the big shoes from a bunch of brands and suppliers and sell them in one convenient Web store

Nord Strom Rack 100%. I wear 15 s, they have lots of nice shoes for 60-70 in 14+. I'd suggest some Clarks DBs, high-tops work wonders for height.

Check out www.meyerssporthorseservices.com We have huge, grass pastures with very calm herds and no hind shoes. Very nice arena and a super supportive group of riders. Board is $500/month but great feed and the care is amazing.

Rogue Running on Pressler. I find their stock limited at times, they don't always have hoka, salomon or more niche brands, but their sales associates are incredibly helpful and know their stuff.

Whole Earth Provision Co on N. Lamar or S. Lamar next to the Westgate Central Market (2 locations) Ready To Run on Far West Texas Running Company in the Gateway Shopping Center
Bloodfoe replied:
You should do market research for the area and see if there are enough existing shoe stores. Figure out how many shoes are being bought each month in town and what the average distance people travel when they shop.
Then you need to hire competent workers. You need at least one with managerial experience to start off with. You will be working the hours when they aren't there. Later on you can hire another manager.
Keep up with the trends in shoe styles and don't forget about accessories and other add-on items to increase the sales per customer.
Definitely hire someone to do your social media. You might think you can do it yourself, but you'll be busy working the books, inventory, HR. You don't need the hassle of being the face of your social media account.
