Scratch that. I can't PM you for some reason from this device. I hope you'll take a look at my website www.amothersinstinct.com, to "meet" me and if you think you'd like to explore partnering, give me a buzz!

Yes, I serve mamas in Baltimore - just supported a birth at Mercy and I have also been to GBMC, Sinai and Howard County. Feel free to send me a message here or handsandheartbirth@gmail.com

Odile Penet. Absolutely amazing.

Heather, the yoga birth instructor, also highly recommended Kat Cameron at Metta in Hampden. Heather has a list of doulas she recommends on her web site.

Yes! Ours was amazing. We used her for both deliveries. Diane Kyle. PM me if you want more info.
Sara M. replied:
Yes! Bobbie Humphrey. Loved her. And I second that about heather brown's list - just make sure you interview doula candidates.

Also - Johns Hopkins school of nursing has a free "birth companion" program. They are nursing student that get doula training.
Chelsea W. replied:
It would be a trek, but NOVA Natural Birth Center is amazing!! I would recommend it to anyone relatively close.
Becky S. replied:
Kathleen Slone CNM and Associates were an amazing support to my family and I before, during and after the birth of our LO. This month, they are moving their practice to St. Joe's Hospital--right near GBMC. They will be working in collaboration with the current midwives there, but I definitely recommend getting in contact specifically with Kathy and her partners. She has been a highly respected midwife in Baltimore for over 40 years and her midwife partners are all great as well. I also recommend the Birth Well prenatal and birth support through Baltimore Yoga Village. Nilajah Brown is fantastic and would have great doula recommendations as well.
