Barry Lyon, DDS on Quarterfield Rd. Best Pediatric Dentist office and worth the drive. I would never take my children to just a "familky" dentist otherwise known as "general" dentist. Children need to have the specialist in pediatric dentistry, it's very important. I worked at the Dental Board for 9 years so I learned all about this and the difference between the two.

Monica L. replied:
I have one daughter that goes to Dr Tatro, and my other daughter see's Dr Bachner due to the severe anxiety she has about seeing a dentist. All because of Dr Spences office. They had a horrible hygienist there that was very mean. She loves Dr Bachner and he is awesome dealing with her anxiety. My oldest absolutely loves Dr Tatro. They both are wonderful.
Tina-Nathan P. replied:
Dr. Spence was horrible, I had him as a child and I refuse to take my kids there. We go to Lebanon dental. They're great with all of my boys.

Dr Spence is no longer practicing, the new staff they have is awesome!! My daughter has Aspergers and refuses to let anyone look in her mouth ( she bit her last dentist) but we took her there and the female dentist was able to get her to sit still for pictures and gave her a cleaning. Great team all around smile emoticon

I've heard awful things about Dr. Spence. More bad than good. My kids have went to Keene Dr. Wully in the past and he was great, I was just wondering what options there are closer that are good. Thank you all smile emoticon
Lisa B. replied:
Dunning Dental has an excellent team of dentists and hygenists. Our family has been going to Dr Tatro for years and when there has been an emergency(broken tooth with lost filling) while Dr Tatro was on vacation I was very happy with Dr Maxfield. smile emoticon

Amy L. replied:
Melissa Palczewski well at least it is a baby tooth - I do know that the permanent tooth is pretty protected up in the gum if he isn't close to losing teeth. The permanent one is further until it's ready to come in then they come down pushing on the baby tooth which is what causes the baby one to become loose (also the baby tooth starts to have it's roots dissolve) but I also know of several people who had bad accidents and the baby teeth were lose...but they also can tighten back up so don't continue to wiggle that either. But my niece one time had a bad fall and her baby tooth got jammed up into the gum ...her tooth was loose and her gum was bruised really bad and we were afraid it might of hurt her permanent tooth..her baby tooth even ended up turning darker in color but it actually tightened back up and never came out until it was ready to...her other tooth came in completely fine and undamaged...so I would think that he should be ok....and hopefully it should tighten back up- they might be able to grind down the part that broke off and just leave it there until it's ready to come out - but it's good to see the dentist to make sure - I look at it at least it's better to have this stuff happen when they have baby teeth...I just worry now after all the real teeth are in and we've been through expensive orthodontic work that they will fall or something and break a tooth out!
