Looking for new equine dentist, must be affordable, only by hand no power float, be patient with horses that are nervous, and also be willing to put up with my million...
Jacquelyn M. replied:
Gary Sacoccia. There is not one else out there as good as him!

I only use Gary Saccocia (the son)...he's amazing with my three nervous horses. One had bad dental care and two teeth were falling out from rot when we had him first seen, one has a bunch of broken teeth in the back and is extremely nervous, and the third used to need to be drugged but no more! All three settle right in with Gary - I call him the Pied Piper of horse teeth.
Beth C. replied:
Nate Viera!
Katherine D. replied:
Gary is THE BEST- my gelding had a tooth cracked down to the root by a previous dentist when he was 2, and was told by many vets that it will be a problem for the rest of his life. Well Gary has done his teeth the last 4 years and completely fixed it. My boy is now completely fine and the broken piece was able to grow out.
Kellie D. replied:
Ed Dillon is great

Gary Saccocia is the best! I wouldn't want anyone but him to do my horses:)
Kimberley N. replied:
Nate Viera is amazing he is quiet and kind with the horses. I have used him for years and wouldn't use anyone else.
Wendy C. replied:
Ed Dillon hands down, for all the reasons above. If there is a problem, he isn't afraid to recommend the horse be seen by a vet. He is extremely patient and has a kind way with horses. If a horse is still very frightenend, he'll tell you the horse needs a tranq to take the edge off so as to not have the horse have a melt down. Highly recommended!

Gary Sr. still works a couple days per week. Nate Viera is also in the area, and I think does a fine job. 774-930-9613.

I need to bring my son to the dentist for a cleaning, he has started to show discoloration at the tops of the gum line on his two front teeth, it happened...
Jessica P. replied:
We live in Sandwich and go to Dr. Dinn. I love them--he does adults and children--he has 2 kids himself. They are great and affordable.
Kristen O. replied:
I go to lightship dentistry an they are incredible! Call to ask about your son. (508)428-4929
Christina B. replied:
Hi I am a dental hygienist it could be lots of reasons for this you should have it looked at. Something could of happened while teeth were forming but u just don't want it to get into the nerve and give him a tooth ache. If you don't put him to bed with bottles its probably not bottle decay. He could have issues with his enamel that has nothing to do with anything you have done so don't worry too much. Good luck and by the way Dinn's is great .....I work there lol!!!508-888-1515
Researching pediatricians, and looking for a primary care physician, pediodontist, and adult dentist as well. I would love some local recommendations.

I love Dr. Jon Jolles for the kids in Hanover at Health Care South. Dr. Robert Ryan in Quincy for dentist. He's excellent and also does kids too. Not sure how far that is for you but worth the drive. Good luck!

Julian Huang- amazing pediatrician. Mary Feeney-world's best dentist for the entire family. Welcome back
Chris asks:
Do you know of any good dentists on Cape that see children as well as adults that do not frown upon not getting fluoride or metal fillings?
Thanks!
Gail N. replied:
My dentist -- Dr. Darzenta at Mashpee Dental Associates -- does not do metal at all. It costs a little extra, because insurance doesn't like to cover it, but who cares? My kids have been going to him since 5 years old or so.. Fluoride? Embarrassed to say I don't remember. Kids are now 22 and 25. Think it was the pediatrician who pushed the fluoride vitamins. I heartily recommend Dr. Darzenta.

Hi, my 2 year old son has recently started getting discoloration at the tops of his two front teeth. You could consider them "chips" and I am scared...
Dashe V. replied:
Jack and Jill toothpaste is an awesome toothpaste! They are organic and fluoride free. I am NOT a fan of fluoride and I do not recommend it for kids. My children love this toothpaste. http://usa.jackandjillkids.com
