Hello,
Can anyone recommend a pediatrician near by? We have twin toddlers and are looking for someone in the area (Batavia, Geneva, St Charles, Aurora).
Thanks!

She truly cares about her patients and is will to spend time going over any questions, and i know being a FTM how many questions one might have. I have never had a problem getting in to see her, she has even moved her schedule around to get us in one day. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her

Melissa E. replied:
We use Dr. Eng at Northwestern, he is a Osteopath, which is one of my first requirements when searching for a doc for my kids. “Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine, or DOs, are fully licensed physicians who practice in all areas of medicine. Emphasizing a whole-person approach to treatment and care, DOs are trained to listen and partner with their patients to help them get healthy and stay well. DOs receive special training in the musculoskeletal system, your body's interconnected system of nerves, muscles and bones. By combining this knowledge with the latest advances in medical technology, they offer patients the most comprehensive care available in medicine today.” http://rmg.nm.org/find-a-doctor/find-a-doctor-profile?id=6339

Any holistic pediatricians in the tri-cities?? I tried to use Google but couldn't find many reviews. Looking for a Dr who uses the "Dr. Bob Method" for vaccines....
Holly C. replied:
Dr. Natalie at Whole Child Pediatrics in Yorkville.
Jena M. replied:
You can ask any pediatrician for a modified vaccination schedule. I go to DuPage Medical Group which is huge, and they were really cool about spacing vaccines etc. Even ordered them in singles for me. It's not a problem at all.:)
Hillary B. replied:
Love Dr. Natalie!!! (Whole Child Pediatrics, Dr Natalie Lambajian-Drummond) Though she isn't in the tri-cities, but in Yorkville. She has both the CDC schedule and dr. Bob's schedule on her walls. And allows us to do an even different schedule from that! A holistic approach, and we love her.
Michelle A. replied:
I have heard good things about Dr. Natalie
Amber W. replied:
Not local at all but we still drive to Genoa for Dr Federici. She lets us space out as we desire. I would love to find someone closer!

Don't most doctors do this if you ask? Our Ped with Elmhurst pediatrics allows us to do this with our five year old. No questions asked. They are also great about not pushing flu shots.

I would recommend looking for a D.O., Dr. of Osteopathic Medicine. My first experience with a D.O. was with my first child in Pennsylvania, and I refuse to use anything but a D.O. now. They have always talked with me and worked with me. My daughter was well above average in weight and height at 3 months old and he gave me the choice of doing the rotavirus, knowing she was not at risk of dying even if she did get the virus. (Which is a stomach virus that causes severe diarrhea and some vomiting) He treated me as though I was a intelligent adult, educated me and let me decide on that vaccine. Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine, or DOs, are fully licensed physicians who practice in all areas of medicine. Emphasizing a whole-person approach to treatment and care, DOs are trained to listen and partner with their patients to help them get healthy and stay well. DOs receive special training in the musculoskeletal system, your body's interconnected system of nerves, muscles and bones. By combining this knowledge with the latest advances in medical technology, they offer patients the most comprehensive care available in medicine today. Osteopathic physicians focus on prevention, tuning into how a patient's lifestyle and environment can impact their wellbeing. DOs strive to help you be truly healthy in mind, body and spirit -- not just free of symptoms.

Very happy with Dreyer Medical Clinic in Batavia. We see Dr. Sroka, and my only complaint is part of the reason I appreciate having him for my boys, he takes his time and doesn’t rush. But as a result he can run extremely late by the afternoon. That being said I won’t be changing for that
