At Shine, the NE Arc (Association for Retarded Citizens) we have a workshop that produces beaded jewelry, they do a great job stringing and creating. I am not sure about repair work but I wouldn't be surprised as we do caning repair at Heritage Industries. They are on Foster ST in Peabody. And you will benefit people with developmental disabilities. (I am on the Autism Support Center board which is a part of NE Arc) so that is another avenue.
