I have a black lab mix female who used to throw up bile all the time when she was a puppy. She would also have diarrhea at times with certain foods. I've switched to Taste of the Wild. It's a little pricey, but it's grain free and both my dogs love it. You should check out chewy.com because you can get it shipped to your house every month.

Livvy Gill he doesn't do either of those and he never really pays attention to his butt. He hates it being touched because he is terrified of getting his temperature taken. What vet do you use? I think I need to switch to a different one.

West End Animal Clinic in Radford is the bomb. I have never loved a vet clinic as much as them. They love my dog like he is their own. They also have an awesome groomer.

Main Street Veterinary Clinic. Less expensive than Companion and Town and Country but more than Blacksburg AC. It's middle of the road for price the prices aren't too low to be worried but they aren't incredibly expensive like other places. The doctors are amazing. There are two. Dr. Halkowich and Dr. Fjallstrom. They're professional and KNOW their stuff!:)

Mountain View is wonderful for spay/neuter! For vets I would second Riner Animal Hospital, Companion Animal Clinic, and also recommend Appalachian Vet in Christiansburg. I've never heard a bad thing about Appalachian, and I take my personal pets to Companion. I've seen different vets each time, but they've all been wonderful, and I think you can also make appointments for a specific veterinarian each time if you find one you like! They don't seem too expensive to me.

Riner Animal Hospital - Dr Wright and all the staff can't be beat!

I'll throw in a vote for Riner Animal Hospital as well. They've been great to me. Last time I went Dr. Wright spent 45 minutes with us to determine the best course of action for some allergy problems my dog was experiencing. It was no more expensive than usual, he explained all his suggestions and even advised holding off on some pricier tests until we saw if his initial suggestions worked. Great service, the entire staff is friendly.

We drive our dogs over to Community Animal in Dublin. Great staff and vets.

Blacksburg Animal Clinic is amazing. We just moved here and they have taken my two in like their own! Any time I need them, they're there.

Main Street Animal Hospital! I used to go to Blacksburg Animal Clinic and I liked it there as well, I only switched because I know Dr. Fjallstrom at N. Main. Either are great!

I adore Town & Country in Blacksburg. You can specifically schedule appointments with the vet of your choosing. They have an app that makes making appointments easier too. Love them!

Martha Moses does chiro and acupuncture. She put Reily's entire spine, hips, shoulders and ribs back in place when I got him off the track. He was basically out everywhere except his neck. Normally only take a day or 2 off, a couple days of hand walking then back to work but he was so out of wack it was almost 2 weeks before we were back to work. But he felt 100 x better afterwards!!

Put up a post asking if anyone else needs a session, it's usually easy to get another couple of folks down this way for Dr. Goldsmith.

My yorkie has pink eye in both eyes...Dr Jones (bburg animal clinic)said it probably started as allergies...medication began to clear it up in just a couple of days. Just thinking that you could be dealing with similar situation?

I use Main Street Veterinary clinic! Both Dr. Halkowich and Dr. Fjallstrom do a lot of dental surgeries. That's something I had to have done for my dog when I adopted him from there.

I would not recommend Tech ..VERY expensive and inaccurate quotes for services. We go to Blacksburg Animal Clinic and have been pleased.

Companion Animal Clinic is open until 1 today, and Town & Country in Christiansburg is open 24 hours.

I took my puppy to Blacksburg Animal Clinic off S. Main St. when he was acting like that and he had worms. They charge $15 to test a fecal sample and I think the medicine to treat it was $15 as well. And Dr. Jones is great and really cares about each individual pet he sees.

Vet School. The students need the exposure, the practicing vets are super smart. I took Logan there and they always did an amazing job. The most difficult procedure was a complete enucleation. They did a fantastic job even though my poor girl had to loose her eyes

We use Companion. Dr. Herring is wonderful, but there are such good vets in Blacksburg, you can't go wrong

FYI Dr. Herring at Companion is a boarded internist though she practices as a GP. I like most all the vets over there. Email me if you have specific questions. The vet school has a GP but we are not very time efficient.

I take my dog to Town and Country in Christiansburg. Don't know how they are with cats but they do have a few that wander around the center during the day.

Redbone Mobile vet is our primary. Reasonable prices and they come to you. For more advanced care we use Companion on s main. Have used T&C as well and they were fine just far away, but they have 24 hr care.

I use Companion Animal Clinic for my dog and have been happy.

Campanion has served us well for many years. Any doctor there (we usually see Dr. McCormick)

Dr. Cooper Bailey. She takes house calls too and is one of the best. She and her husband went out of their way to save our cat from a serious asthma attack.

Try Main Street Veterinary Clinic, they groom and will sedate.

Blacksburg Animal Clinic is awesome and Angela Linkous does grooming at Heartstrings, you should give her a call I think she would be able to groom your dog and a better price and she is really good......

I honestly don't know. I go to Blacksburg Animal Clinic and Dr. Jones is always reasonable. I'm positive he'd be cheaper than T&C. So if you want to be safe and make sure you have a certificate, I'd give him a call.

Heartstrings Grooming in Blacksburg is much better and cheaper than T&C. I wouldn't trust them with a stray dog at T&C.

Town & country is really expensive. I would only recommend them for emergencies but even then, you make an appointment and they make you wait an hour before you see a doctor. I take my cat and puppy to Dr. Gallagher at Companion Animal Clinic, the staff there is really nice
