Please don't take her to crazy butt quack Dr. Guerra. His office is like an assembly line. He runs hrs behind and to old to remember his patients

Kay after Dr Stalheim retired I wanted a female Dr. I found Dr. Valarie Purcell at Anderson Medical Park in Hudson. She is very thorough and my office visits usually last up to two hours. You never feel rushed with her. She even calls me at home to follow up if she has any concerns. I really feel comfortable having her to take care of me. Hope your Mom is OK.

I am so sorry about your daughter, Stacy! This sounds exactly what so many of the girls (and now, boys!) are experiencing. My daughter has had ever single side effect you mentioned above and all of the "regular" tests come back normal. So frustrating and despairing!! Many have found relief through visits to naturopaths. I do know of some out your way...I'll send you an inbox message with some names. Have you checked out the truthaboutgardasil.org site? There are some ideas of what you can do if you feel your child has been injured by Gardasil.
Hi all! I have a question that's not homeschool related; I hope it's okay to ask here because I respect all of your opinions-more so than any other group of parents I...

If you would consider an alternative type of doctor, I would highly recommend Dr. Alex Isaenko at Calloway Clinic. He is a chiropractor/kinesiologist (meaning he does muscle-testing to figure out what's wrong with you - much easier and less expensive than traditional medical tests). I recommend this type of medical care based on personal experience. Our younger son wasn't growing, had dark circles under his eyes and complained of being tired all the time. We lived in a different start at the time, but had a chiropractor there who muscle-tested him and found it was due to sensitivity to gluten. We removed gluten from his diet and within a couple weeks the dark circles are gone, his energy was up to normal and in the following year, he grew 10 inches (making up for lost time!).

Dr Lonas & Dr Zimmerman both fantastic.

Thanks you all! We have an appointment with Dr. Lonas next week.:) Catherine Mikkola, I'm definitely open to alternative approaches, so thanks so much for the suggestions. We have some past history stuff involved at this point so I think we need to at least start with and have in MD involved.:)
I have to get a new primary doctor because the group mine was in sold out and the new one doesn't take my insurance. I always HATE this-----I have so many doctors...

I hear what you all are saying and man o man ...can I ever relate!! Had the same primary for 30 yrs. and the woosh...he was gone ...no notice ...nothing...I'm on doc #4....can't relate to them ...They do NOT want to write the scripts like my doc of 30 yrs....the thing here in High Point, North Carolina are Pain Clinics! and I'm on # 2 of those and ohhhhhhhhhhh what a PAIN.....!!!(no pun intended) I'm too flared and sick to go to the pain clinic MERCY! What are we supposed to do. (did find out that my doc of 30 years got fired for treating his family!!!)
Connie P. replied:
Patti, I can sympathize. My rhuemy is pretty good about the pain stuff---he knows I am really careful------but I think some pharmacies have started reporting Drs. who write many pain meds. There are so many people -----especially kids who are getting addicted----because parents and other folks just aren't paying attention and the kids get them. That certainly doesn't help us though. The Volteran Gel has helped me some and so has the pain patch-----but from what I understand they can be expensive. I have really good insurance for meds so I am lucky. Pain is really a big difficult part of this! I know lots of folks say they love the accupunture for it but that can get expensive and no insurance pays for it
