Who was your doctor and/or dentist and where was their office?
Susan H. replied:
My family went to Dr. Bill Kirksey. Our dentist was Dr. Theron Sain.
Ed M. replied:
Dr. Hogshead made house calls when I was very young. Don't remember when he stopped making house calls.
Maretta H. replied:
Dr WC Arney. His office was near old Feree cleaners building. his office assistant's name was Sadie. He actually was my mother's MD and was the MD that delivered me in 1950.
Ed M. replied:
Dr. Ralph Hogshead, his office was across from the new courthouse.
Andrea F. replied:
Dr Helms and the dentist was Dr Paisley and later Dr Sain
Alex H. replied:
Dr Hemmings and Dr Keels. Replaced Keels with Stamper.
Eugenie F. replied:
Dr. Hogshead was our doctor. when I was about 3-4 yrs. old he came out on a snowy day to give a shot. Mom said as soon as he came in the house I started screaming. hahaha. I vaguely remember the incident as syringes were large shiny metal things back then that looked quite lethal.
Donna B. replied:
Dr. Helms was my doctor, the BEST and sweetest man I knew, with a great sense of humor..... and Dr. Falls was the dentist....ouch!!!!
Eugenie F. replied:
Dr. Falls was rough---think dentistry with a crowbar--but he really took care of your teeth.
Ed H. replied:
Dr Paisley-dentist- Great fellow! Dr Andy Lang- Great family doctor! Dr Jim Kirksey early childhood.
Neil C. replied:
Just like Susan, I had Dr. Bill (Kirksey) and Dr. Sain. I don't think I could pronounce Kirksey!
Susan P. replied:
Dr. Diercks and Dr. Patton, then Dr. Riggs ...all were friends of my father. When I chose for myself, I chose Steve Sudderth as my dentist and Clay Richardson as my doctor.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good plastics physician or any experience with Piedmont Plastic Surgery?
Megan B. replied:
Piedmont Plastic Surgery removed 2 pre-cancerous moles that I had last year. I saw Jessica Curtis-Yount initially for diagnosis and then Dr. Nowicky removed them. Jessica is awesome and makes you feel extremely comfortable. I didn't have much contact with Dr. Nowicky only because it was such a quick procedure but he was pleasant and I had two amazing nurses. I didn't have any issues with healing and my scars are almost unnoticeable.
The merging of two worlds lol: Sarah is exposing me to her anime and I am exposing her to Doctor Who. That, plus good food and lots of laughs = one great night that will...
