Stride Rite is expensive, but they do excellent fittings and their shoes are very well made. I only ever did my children's first walking shoes with them though.

Active Soles Shoe store North Plymouth is an old fashion shoe store they sit and fit you for shoes. And they carry Kids medium, wide, and extra wide. Along with Adult shoes.
