landscape architect and contractor here, (design/build). There is a problem with contractors this year that has to do with seasonal H2B workers in that the number of available visas was reduced by about 30%, (while they were requesting an increase of 50%). As a result a number of contractors that rely on them are unable to fulfill what work they've committed to, let alone take on new projects, implying there's a lot more work available then there are contractors. All the new construction happening in the front range is exacerbating the problem. Good luck. One of the larger area contractors I learned today from my nursery rep, screwed up their application and are short ~300 laborers.

Ryan Durfee with Pans Gardens. It's a boutique company, meaning he is independent, truly experienced and uniquely artistic. Will contract work with others equally talented in their fields. He's great. You can reach him at 303-517-6638.
