Dog groomers Anyone got recommendations for good dog groomers in town? Doesn't have to be the ritz, just not super rough with animals and all that. Cheers.

We go to The Hydrant on Valmont. $35 for a wash, nail trim, and brush, and they let all the dogs play in the back together while you're out, which is a bonus for us since our pup loves to socialize.

I go to Green Dog Wash > https://www.yelp.com/biz/green-dog-wash-boulder Been there 4 times over the last 1-2 years and have been happy with them. Usually takes an hour and costs between $30 and $45 depending on size of dog iirc.

If you're on a budget there's always Petsmart.

We've only been once, but Pampered Pooch seemed to be a pretty good balance between cost and quality. Cottonwood was good, but slightly harder to get into. At this time of year most are pretty well booked until after the holidays (in my experience). Most of the time I wash ours at Whole Pet. What trimming needs to be done, I take care of.

Long term, you may want to look into buying clippers (Oster A5 2 Speed), table with an arm to attach a leash to, an adjustable speed dremel for nails, and a couple scissors for the face. It's a bit upfront and does take time, but with two dogs the $70-100 every month was getting ridiculous for something we could do ourselves.
My mom is looking for an experienced Dog Groomer full time/or part time to work at her amazing shop in Boulder, The Pampered Pooch!! please contact me if you are...
