DC Groomers in Lafayette is really good. I had bad experiences at Pets art too. She groomed our dogs for years, from our St. Bernards to our toy poodle. 720-352-1057

My 1st visit to Pets Mart (Larkridge) was not good either. I have a Pomeranian that I have shaved down (she doesn't like the hair in her mouth) to look like a fox. The "sanitary" was to close and she got a rash. They were great and Banfield Vet at Pets Mart gave me the ointment for free and the grooming salon refunded my money. I have continued to take her to Rebecca at the same Pets Mart and she is great.(they have it in their notes not to shave her to close in "that" area. I forget the "service name", but it is Rebecca's 1st appt. of the day and she is dedicated to Asia "my baby". Which means she is in and out of there in an hour (may be more depending on the service) It's $10 more (may be more depending on the the service), but I don't have to worry about her being back in a kennel. She is always with Rebecca.

Heather at Struttin' Pup. She takes about an hour and it's one dog at a time so much less stressful for pups.

Talk to Dapper Dog Grooming (Katie Mudd) - I can message you her number if you want! She works out of the humane society. I recently took my dog there for her very first cut (even though she's three) and Katie did a great job getting her accustomed to the equipment. My pup wouldn't let her use the clippers on her front paws, so when I came to pick her up she had me help hold her so she could finish the job (even though I insisted she didn't need to finish if my pup got too uncooperative.) She also gave me some tips on things I can do between groomings to try to make her more comfortable!

My little pup is a very nervous breed (Maltese/Bichon) and does not care for grooming. Paws and Claws on Main were terrific with her and really quick.
