This place is amazing and could be a stop on the drive to the airport. They have everything there to ensure your pet is in the next best place to being in your home. http://denvervet.com

The Divine Canine. We have also boarded at the Pet Chalet (Erie) and Cottonwood Kennels (Boulder). My favorite was Dog City, but they have closed, alas. I would recommend all of the other three - mostly a question of how much you are willing to spend.

I'll second Bowhaus in Erie. My three dogs go there, and they always run in with wagging tails. The dogs are in the yard most of the day, so they get a lot of socialization and exercise. They also take great care of the dogs there; one of my dogs has a lot of health issues, and I trust them completely to take care of him. http://www.bowhaus.biz/

Check out Rocky Hill Ranch! Depending on how old your pup is and if she's social...this is the best place ever! Doggy Heaven really!

Yes! This woman is wonderful! Deanne deanne@persnicketypetgrooming.com Our dogs love her, she brings her own grooming truck and is highly professional. And she's a true dog lover. You should see how proud and fancy my dogs are after she grooms them - they literally prance back into the house.

I also have a pup with severe anxiety. Our vet prescribed Xanax for him and that has worked wonders. We used to go to Divine Canine but they don't offer grooming and my understanding is that their amazing groomers are now at Dogtopia. Since I couldn't find them in time I took my pup recently to Black Paw. They were great about getting him in first thing and the groomer was fast and he was groomed exactly like I asked! I told them she would probably need to muzzle him and she said she didn't need it.

You can make an appointment at Divine Canine and they will do them right away. At least they did the day I was there.
