They just had Chuck E Cheese for their 5 yr old. This will be basically for family members, not a little kids party. They have gone to Balmoral for the racing, lots of little kids go there with their families on race nights. They are going to call for info. I just didn't know if Balmoral was open since they are negotiating the harness racing.

Susan Paul has a point. Is it for a toast to the birthday child? Considering this may better define where you want to celebrate the event. Concerning Chuck E Cheese and other places designed for kids of all ages such as Pump It Up, I'd recommend it but have some reservations about the food and how much it costs.

The Willard Wood Center in Crete, is $50 an hr, plus $100 for an alcohol permit. There's also a security deposit, it's either $100 or $150. Most VFW's or Legion halls are pretty cheap, but you can't bring your own alcohol.

I suspect many famous people had the pleasure of dining at the Tiv. Name some.....I'll start - around 1970 we had dinner there with my very good friend Tony Butala, lead singer and founder of "The Lettermen.". Tony and I have been friends for over 4 decades....they're still going strong - just spoke with him on Sunday in fact....they're still around, we're still here but the Tiv is gone..... great memory though.
