Laurie G. replied:
Try Lutheran Social Services (www.lcsnw.org). They have mental health services and charge on a sliding scale (last I heard). Depending on your insurance, you might check with The Doctors Clinic. They are all over Kitsap County and also have at least one urgent care clinic. I know that's not a specific name but they have a lot to offer. For example, you might like a DO instead of MD. You might click with someone at the clinic, and if not, could easily switch to someone else within the clinic.
Angela H. replied:
I agree with Angela Kartischko. I see Dr. Caulkins now, from her recommendation, and really like him.
Laurie G. replied:
Lutheran Social Services is supported by the church (because that's what they do) but they really are a non-discriminatory organization. I went there before I was a Christian.

Peninsula Health Services has some good practitioners; they are worth a try. I too struggled with finding the right doctors on the Kitsap Peninsula and have all my medical services in Seattle because I work here. I use Doctors Clinic Urgent Care as my back up when I am at home.

I see Sherry Nuzieck at Dr . Calkins office. Olympic family practice is the office name. In my opinion they are both great. My husband and two boys see caulkins and i prefer Sherry just because I like to deal with a woman. I have found for all my issues that getting referrals are easy peasy and Sherry really listens and tries to find the reason behind my issues and not just throw a bandaid on it and rush me off to talk to the next patient. They are located right down off of cherry so walking distance from manette if need be:)
Tania Y. replied:
I see Sheri Zumdieck too. She's very nice. My boys and husband see Dr Caulkins. He is super nice too. Her # is 360-373-9191. That office is also great about working you in if you are ill.
Dorothy W. replied:
Is Sherry an ARNP or a PA? My PA at Drs Clinic left and I'm also looking for a new HCP.

Hello,
I'm seeking a therapist that specializes in generalized anxiety disorder for my son. I'd prefer someone who is not faith-based.
Thank you all in advance.

We see in Jeffery Weist at https://ccftherapy.com.
Brianne G. replied:
Stanford Call with Group Health is my psychiatrist and he's not faith based at all. He also looks for ways to help without just pushing drugs on you, like essential oils, vitamins, coping mechanisms, etc. He's really, really wonderful. I do believe they take other forms of insurance besides just Group Health coverage, too.

Laura Blair is amazing
Sandra J. replied:
Arjay I'm sorry this shouldn't be so difficult. I'm liking Lou Ann Lauborough in Silverdale. She is non-judgemental. If she can't help you she can find someone who can.

Dr. John Rarick in Silverdale-cant recommend him enough
