My husband and I see Kalani Baker at Curry Medical Center, she is excellent. She has an calm, supportive "bedside" manner, explains things in simple terms and makes sure you are always aware of what exactly is going on with your health. She's one of the better doctors I've ever had, and I've had several.

FNP's are usually the quickest to get an appointment with, and they are under the direct supervision of an MD for those times that you are in doubt or need a second opinion or faster response time, which usually will end up in an ER visit anyway. Remember in order to get the best response and most adequate care, be persistent and polite. I wish I had a name for you. Always check healthgrades.com. Same thing here...my appointments in that office is quick. Beach Medical. FNP's can prescribe meds and are just a paper or two away from being an MD. and it is important to have a Dr with great communication skills.
