Avoid Gentle Dental at all costs. I'm very happy with CITI Dental. They have multiple locations.

I've hated every dentist I've ever been to with a passion and love Beacon Family dental. They were super kind and nice to me even though I'm not the best at doing what I'm supposed to do. Can't recommend them enough. Beacon Family Dental 1691 Beacon St #104, Brookline, MA 02445 (617) 738-6188https://maps.app.goo.gl/MyWmWVQLG7ScwX6 p9

I have been happy with Mayani Dental in One International Place. Have gone multiple times during the pandemic and it has been a non event. Relatively close to The North End too.

Thanks for all the great recommendations everyone! Very helpful! I'm going to look all of them up and see which accepts my insurance :)

Arch Street Dental! They are real pros. The office is communicative about pricing and tailors their care to your personal preferences. They treat my janky mouth like it belongs to a Queen.
Anyone know of a good dentist that could see someone ASAP?

Dentists for people with anxiety Hello all!
My boyfriend and I have pretty severe anxiety revolving the dentist. That paired with some less than stellar lifestyle...

I can’t recommend Dr. Affara at Smile Designers in Salem, MA enough. Dr. Affara is a very kind, gentle and reasonable man who’s not solely interested in making money. He typically lays out the options and discusses the value of each option as it pertains to your needs. He will blatantly tell you if he thinks the expensive option is unnecessary. He seems to genuinely care about his patients and treats them like human beings. I’m not sure of his stance on payment plans, but I can’t imagine him being unwilling to do that.
He also has a high interest in your comfort. They have massage pads that go over the dental chairs and Samsung VR, so you can have heat/massage and Netflix going while you’re having the procedure done. Dr. Affara is always making sure I’m doing okay during procedures and even has a technique to administer Novocain in the least painful way possible. I have severe social-anxiety but I find my anxiety at Smile Designers to be significantly less in comparison to how I feel in other public places.
Good luck! Good for you for taking the steps to take care of your dental needs. It’s unfortunate the very people who you need help from are the ones judging you but don’t let that deter you. Your health matters most!

Stoneham Dental Care is great as they offer sedation. They basically give you a bunch of pills and out you go! I think they only do that for more serious procedures and not cleanings/exams. They do have nitrous oxide that can be used for that if necessary.
