Rabbit vet (info request) Does anyone know of a rabbit vet in the Lakewood area? I’d be willing to drive anywhere for the right reference. Must specialize in rabbits....

I have had an amazing experience the past few years with Fox Hollow Animal Hospital -- [http://foxhollowvet.com/](http://foxhollowvet.com/) The eldest Dr. Henderson is incredibly patient and compassionate, and he's the first vet that each of my three rabbits isn't nervous to see. I hope everything you're dealing with turns out for the best!

Look up the Colorado House Rabbit Society on Facebook. They can help.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a vet in the Broomfield, Lafayette, Westminster area?
Erin D. replied:
Yes! Laurel Vet Clinic(303.469.5363, 1480 W Midway 80020) for 'normal' stuff. However, if you need specialized care then DEFINITELY Veterinary Referral Clinic of CO (303.874.7387).
Donna H. replied:
Jenny and I ( and the dog across the street) use Huron Animal Clinic. It is a little sour of you, but Zak loves going there--even after having surgery for lump removal. It's on Huron, almost to 84 th.

Adina, good for you for adopting! :) Here's a good list of questions to ask: http://www.coloradohrs.org/articles/medical_good_vet.asp We also have a list of vets on our website, you may find someone close enough for you: http://www.coloradohrs.org/vet.asp
Double-0-2-7ers, we need a recommendation for a good veterinarian. And, by good, I mean a veterinarian that doesn't try to guilt you into every preventative exam, blood...

I made a mistake! My apologies to Louisville Veterinary Hospital. In my earlier post I said we ran up a fortune in bills there. Thats not the case. Im sure they're wonderful. It was Centennial Valley Veterinary where we had the issue.
Laurie S. replied:
Dr. Adducci at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital
Tressa E. replied:
Dr Sabichi at Indian Peaks in Boulder. She will spend 45 minutes with you answering all your questions and will recommend what's needed for your pet but no guilt trip. She just cares about your pet first and foremost.
Mike D. replied:
Pets-N-Pals is exactly what you're looking for. They're no frills, reasonably priced, sensible and good at what they do. Although I do like the vets at Louisville Veterinary, we left for the same reasons you list. We ran up a fortune in bills for unnecessary tests.
Lauren A. replied:
I have been very pleased switching to Jasper Animal Hospital. We've seen Drs Vestal and Space. Very thorough and give you all the options but don't guilt trip you into anything at all. They'll be as conservative or liberal as you want them to be!
Tanya S. replied:
We LOVE Dr. Steve Sanderlin with his mobile vet practice -- he brings his amazing vehicle to your house and does exams in-home. homeinsteadvetcare.com/, (720) 256-4900. He books up and it sometimes takes a while for him to respond & to get an appointment, but it is worth it. He's a great natural/Western med combo and he defaults towards the minimal & preventative in terms of treatment (titers, etc.)
Karen K. replied:
We've seen Dr Katz at Banfield for 10 years now. Hes always been very nice and was very compassionate when we unexpectedly lost our first dog.
Jacki B. replied:
You might research this topic, it's been around before with a lot of feedback. Check "files" above. Dr Dodge's group at Jasper - Awesome! Did not care for Centennial Valley or Louisville Family Animal Hosp.
Kristen K. replied:
We've been very happy with Jason Animal Hospital in Lafayette.
Wendy F. replied:
Dr John Bender. No glitz. Just a kind dear sweet compassionate old fashioned vet. He is wonderful. So kind.
Kristen K. replied:
That should have been Jasper Animal Hospital. Not Jason
Tam M. replied:
Another vote for Pets N Pals! They are caring, no-frills (the office is not fancy) and they don't push unnecessary treatments or monthly "insurance plans" like so many places around here do.
Genie M. replied:
We love Dr. Bender at Louisville Veterinary.
Crystal C. replied:
I should clarify that I do think Louisville Animal Hospital did have good vets and the service was good but the pressure was there.
Mary B. replied:
I really liked Dr. Amy at LFAH. Our reasons for leaving there had nothing to do with the care we received from her.
Lynda M. replied:
Dr Kathy Gagliardi at Centennial. She was very informative, didn't over prescribe, gave me all the options and I chose what I felt was best. She has called to check up twice without wanting anything.
Joan Y. replied:
Dr Gagliardi is awesome. She treats all of us with respect. I really, really like her and cannot recommend her enough. i agree that she follows up impeccably.
Corin O. replied:
Pets and Pals at Arapahoe and 287 is great. They have a super low key vibe, very reasonable prices, tell you not to bother with lots of things that aren't necessary if you're on a budget and are super caring. Our 3 dogs see Dr. Michelle.
Heather H. replied:
Dr Michelle Dehan at Pets and Pals is the best, and we have tried a lot of vets!
Karen W. replied:
Jasper Animal Hospital, Dr. Dodge!
Crystal C. replied:
I second Animal House Vet clinic!
Steffen C. replied:
And I will say Louisville Family Animal Hospital again. They were awesome with us!
Crystal C. replied:
I left Louisville Family Animal hospital because they were really bad about the guilt trip tactics.
Katie E. replied:
Humane Society in Boulder.
Hilary N. replied:
Absolutely love Animal House Vet. I am very wary of that guilt trip style of vet care. I really don't feel like I've ever been pushed into anything that wasn't necessary. Also he spends as much time as you could possibly want. They're not the absolute cheapest but not over the top either.
Cindy D. replied:
Jasper Animal Hospital, Dr. Dodge
Cheryl C. replied:
I second Animal House. Dr. Moran.
Jeff G. replied:
I would suggest Pets and Pals on the NW corner of 287 and Arapahoe. Great place!
Mary B. replied:
I hope that for you as well, Laura. We liked them very much when we first started taking our little guys to them a few years ago but it seems as our dog and cat get older they want to push more things down our throats and try to make us feel guilty for not wanting to spend thousands of dollars a year on them. I look forward to checking out Pets and Pals as well as the others mentioned. Thank you all again!
Hi all,
I want to get my female rabbit, Jasmine, spayed.
Is anyone familiar with Dr. Matt Johnston ?
Can anyone recommend a good vet in Northern Colorado?
Thank you!
