While I don't have a doctor to recommend, I would imagine that most doctors you see will be willing to work with your lifestyle as long as they understand the reason for it. Keto is largely considered a fad diet by the medical community, so you may be hard-pressed to find a doctor who truly endorses it over counting calories the old fashioned way, but they're not the ones in control of your body. If you find it beneficial to your lifestyle, and as long as your intent is being good to your body, they'll work with you. Turning away patients isn't beneficial to their business, or to you.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a primary care physician in the Cary area? I need to change doctors, but I'm afraid to just take the first one to come up on...

We use Dr. Crittenden with Cary Medical Group. We have been pretty happy with her and the practice in general. However, I have started using Access Healthcare in Apex for the boys' physicals and I am considering changing our primary care to them. Jim a...See More

I have used Dr. Robert Horton off of Blue Ridge Road for the last 15 years. He is a sole practitioner - kinda reminds me of the doctor I grew up with. The thing I like about him is that he is real good about explaining things to me.

Susan Catchings is a Christian and is brilliant! Jennifer and Bryan are fabulous as well. I've gone to Susan for about 12 years now and take all of my children to her as well. http://shahandcatchings.com/

Lyra R. replied:
we go to Triangle Pediatrics, right off Kildaire Farm Rd and Cary Parkway. It's close enough. I don't know if they're "GREAT" but it's very convenient. ANd they've been good to us.
Andrea G. replied:
For adults or kids? I use Dr. Cleo Baruiz, she's a single practice and takes the time to know you. As for pediatrics, we use Western Wake Peds at the corner or Cary pkwy and Tryon Rd.
