Hi everyone,
My long-time family physician retired so I'm in search of a new one in Cedar Park. I'm pretty healthy and generally see a doctor once a year....

Miranda W. replied:
I like Haley Overstreet, at Cedar Park Physicians Associates
Christine M. replied:
I love Dr Ronald McGaugh. .avery ranch.
Rachelle H. replied:
I really like Benjamin Smith at Scott and White. I know Kristen Bell, she is really nice and listens. Cameron King, not a fan of. Herds his patients in, gives you little time, doesn't listen and billing practice sucks.
Paula H. replied:
Dr Ronald McGaugh is great - he has great bedside manner & it's almost like you're at a small town office
Amos J. replied:
Northwest Diagnostics. on 1431. Stephen Bodi is fantastic!

Teresa B. replied:
Dr wiseman or Lauren Colletti http://www.wisemanfamilypractice.com/
Lynn S. replied:
Wiseman is really good. I have Dr. King and he is no nonsense but he is a good physician and always does me right. He follows up and makes sure I'm doing ok but my husband isn't a fan because he doesn't sugar coat the issues.
Marissa A. replied:
Drs Ringler and Gogulski at Scott amd White are the two best doctors I've ever seen. I left Dr Surapaneni several years ago for over medicating me and a misdiagnosis of a mental health disorder. I would definitely stay away from her.
Vedette P. replied:
A friend recommended Dr. Akin. I called and the earliest she can see a new patient is Aug. 27! I'm a teacher and wanted to get this done while on summer break so I'm still looking at other recommendations.:)
Alkesh-Kruti S. replied:
Definitely Dr. Kristin Bell with Cedar Park Physician Associates.
Trey J. replied:
Dr. Veena Surapaneni on Parmer. Really like her a lot and she's done well by us.

I recommend Dr. Susan DuBois. I have followed her after she changed clinics and have always been happy with her.
ssenniug replied:
I have been to multiple doctors in Texas diabetes (moved from RR to austin) and have been very pleased. I'm seeing Dr Linda Myers and really like her. sadly, as with the other recommendation, she is well booked up. Currently until march. That and they are not accepting Obamacare in 2017.:( I do not recommend Dr Scumpia. She is a good doc and knows her shit but her bedside manner is at zero. I would find myself dreading to see her after seeing her PA for a while. She would chew me out about things and "yelled" at me once. She didn't raise her voice but she wouldn't let it drop. For context I had a brain tumor and after having it removed I didn't have an MRI for 18 years. She kept harping about it until I said "listen, I'm not the doctor and no one told me I had to. I'm here and we can take steps to remedy that, but this isn't helping". Something along those lines. I was so mad though, and I can't hide being upset.

What ever you do don't go to tira chaicha Broom works at Texas diabetes and endocrinology. Gave me the wrong diagnosis for cancer. Was given a false negative. Then had absolutely no clue how to treat it, in my opinion. When I told my Dr. At MD Anderson what she said he was appalled. That lady could have killed me if I would have listened to her.
Johndunn2 replied:
Dr. Maya Bledsoe, with ARC. recommended to my wife by multiple drs

Unrelated but I got a 100% on Ms. Minter's endocrinology test. This was AP psychology in about 2010. I was an average student and this was a 100 question test. 100 / 100. I got lucky af on like 40 questions and despite graduating college it really may be the highlight of my academic career.
