Looking for a new pediatricians office. I was just told that unless I harm my children (immunize after one is already injured) they will not be able to have a pedi...

http://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/schedules/ Adults - don't forget you may need vaccinations as well. Are you pregnant? With the growing number of antivaxxers, your newborn could be at greater risk for whooping cough. The CDC recommends pregnant women get vaccinated in the third trimester - ASK YOUR PEDIATRICIAN! And yes, it can happen here - a baby in Travis county died last year from whooping cough (http://www.austintexas.gov/news/travis-county-infant-dies-pertussis-whooping-cough).

I really like Dr. Ellis and Dr. Sperling with north Austin pediatrics. They have an office in Cedar park.
Anyone love their pediatrician who is in the Cedar Park, Leander, Round Rock area? I want to switch so please send me names if you love yours!!
Lois W. replied:
Dr. M. Deshpande! She was always available. Even on the weekends she would tell us to call her instead of going to the Emergency room or a clinic. She was a jewel when our children were young. 512-250-0406
Gretchen S. replied:
We have loved Dr. Millar in Round Rock
Heather D. replied:
Dr. Moore at Cedar Park Pediatrics and Family Medicine. We have had a lot of pediatricians and she is the best. The girls even love her and are not scared to go to the doctor anymore.

We go to Lone Star Pediatrics and see Dr. Dudley, Dr Thorstad and the RN Gwen Coleman is fantastic!

Dr. Cheng at ARC discovery. Not sure your thoughts on vaccines but he is supportive of parents spacing them out and whatnot. He is a good listener and never makes me feel like my thoughts don't matter

Dr. Ray de Haro at Wyoming springs in round rock!
Lisa M. replied:
Dr Travis from treehouse is phenomenal. Miss him a ton.
Another Austin ?: looking for a new pediatrician (do my kids still need one?). Love our old one, but she's just a little too far and has too many patients.
Sarah B. replied:
Brushy Creek Family Physicians...we see Dr.Goode, but have been impressed with all the doctors in the practice. We're using a family practitioner for all of us (boys included), as I like that the doctor knows & treats the whole family.
LouAnn C. replied:
Several CRE moms go to Treehouse Pediatrics at Great Oaks Dr and 620. I see Dr. Addy, but others see Unite and Travis. I saw them all when they rotated on hospital visits…they are all awesome.
Rachael A. replied:
Whitestone Pediatrics in Cedar Park, across from Academy, right down the road from you. My best friend owns it and is wonderful, Tiffani Modeland Scott.

We had Dr. Philip Itkin in Omaha until he moved to Austin! Miss him:)
Cassandra-Sam L. replied:
Dr. Millar off of 620 is the most amazing pediatrician ever! Absolutely love him
Elizabeth M. replied:
Any of the pedis at Lonestar Pediatrics on 620. They have two female docs one male & two great female NP's.
Heather G. replied:
We love the Drs at Cedar Park Pediatric and Family off of Cypress Creek. Betsi Mathew for the kids, but any of the doctors will see them since they are family practices (David King).
Lisa P. replied:
I go to Cedar Park Pediatric also. Dr. Jennifer Cardwell. Love her.
Kelley H. replied:
I second Dr. Millar. He was referred to us by neighbors in Behren's and we just love him. His staff is great, too.
Alison S. replied:
Ditto what Sarah said...we switched to Dr. Goode a few years ago and we all love him! There are also a few female docs in the practice if the girls feel more comfortable not having a male doctor.
Kristy E. replied:
Cassandra recommended Dr. Millar to me (former CRE family) and we absolutely love him. The man will take a personal call at midnight for an emergency and I love that. He's right off 620
Any suggestions for a pediatrician in the Austin, cedar park area? I will be delivering at Seton downtown. I want a Christian doctor, and one that understands premies...
