Good optometrists on/around campus? I seem to have misplaced my glasses and cant find them, in case they’re truly lost, does anyone have any recommendations for...

I have received friendly, competent care at Dr. Jodi Albert & Associates on Neil just south of downtown Champaign. They take the graduate student insurance there, in case that's a concern of yours. I can't speak about ordering glasses or contacts through them, though, since I ordered mine off the internet. They are pretty accommodating about giving out written prescriptions.

Highly recommend Dr Kelly sanders at Jones Optical on Neil St

I don't know of any on campus, but there is a lencrafters in the mall and some others up around prospect. If you just need a new pair of glasses, target has good deals, but I don't think they have a doctor on staff yet.

Not on campus, but Dr. Lawrence Kessler in DT Champaign is great. Not super far from Illinois Terminal, so he is pretty easy to get to via bus if you don't have a car.

Optometrist recommendations in CU? Would love one that knows how to deal easily with the U of I insurance and is family- friendly.

We've been going to Kevin Glancy for years, very professional and thorough! He's at Lens Crafters in the mall.

Dr. Steve Leon has some office hours in Savoy, at Chitticks ...your dad went there last time instead of driving to Villa Grove. No-line trifocals are always very pricey but it is also hard to get them set just right for desk work...which Steve has always done very well for your dad over many, many years. Steve was the one to find histoplasmosis in your dad's eyes, high bp signs in my eyes. We do not have insurance.

I go to Illini Eye Care on Green - across the street from you guys almost. I have taken my boys there as well. Some of the frames there can be pricey as well, but we have found some that are not. And there are times when they have covered some things under warranty that really shouldn't be.... I like them....
