Joe Allmond, absolutely no need to apologize! I didn't take your comments as cavalier. I made mine in the hope that maybe someone will think twice before tanning.
Aimee D. replied:
Dr Magee ...definitely! I have been seeing her for 14 years, dealt with melanoma and typical cosmetic stuff too. She's great!

I love love love Dr. Burton Burkeholder located on pantops. He is such a wonderful person and so sweet and knowledgeable. I wouldn't go anywhere else! Dermatology plc - 434- 296-0113. All of the staff and nurses there are amazing too. Definitely recommended. Located in brick buildings to the right of McDonald's on pantops. smile emoticon

I see Dr. Mcgee and absolutely love her. She is very forthright. She is very good and to the point. Highly recommend her!
Dermatologist recommendation? I am looking to get a second opinion on a recent skin cancer diagnosis. Many of the dermatologist practices Ive seen seem to focus on...
brittykittyrawr replied:
Dr. Magee is fantastic, but her practice definitely has an aesthetics focus, though they at least keep their spa separate with a different entrance. Dermatology PLC (Dr. Scott is my derm!), or Family Dermatology of Albemarle are both great practices with much less focus on aesthetics and greater focus on caring for your whole body. I work in dermpath and know most of the local practices very well, so feel free to DM me if you have any specific questions!

Dr Deborah Lockman. Straightforward and compassionate.
Does anyone know of a really great Dermatologist in Charlottesville? My doctor said I have eczema. I do not believe him.
Linda F. replied:
There is a Dr. Greer at UVA. He is the best that is if he has not retired.
Rachel K. replied:
Dr Anna McGee is awesome. I used to go to her
Theresa K. replied:
I actually do have eczema, it sucks! I have a really great dermatologist, her name is Dr. Bridget Bryer 215 Wayles Ln Suite 150 Charlottesville, VA 22911 - in my case, it is an autoimmune disease. I also saw Dr. Magee, but she wasn't able to help me, or provide any solutions other than a cream. My case is severe and I just started taking Humera, its starting to help. Good luck!!

Burton Burkholder, hands down. his office is where you say, Rachel...the new building. he treats actual conditions, as opposed to cosmetic.

My daughter saw Dr. Magee at Charlottesville Dermatology. She worked wonders.
