We saw Dr. jimmy Downing thanks to a referral from a fellow laker. The doc our GP gave us had an opening in Oct. i got is as an emergency within 2 days to Dr. Downing. He and the staff were very pleasant and knowledgeable. He did not try to push orthotics on my husband like they did in NY. He noticed my husbands shoes were too tight just by looking at the innersole and referred us to a great shoe store where he bought larger shoes and is more comfortable now. Also had signs up that for many years he has been getting the Best of Charlottesville award.
