I don't know of any in Chattanooga but my dermatologist is Dr. Mary Spraker in Atlanta and she specializes in ethnic skin care. I've been going to her since high school but I haven't been in a few years because she cured my problem. If you find someone local let me know!
Genia C. replied:
I heard there is a physician assistant or nurse practitioner at Dr Susongs office who specializes works with ethnic skin. I think she's either African American or Latino.
April W. replied:
Luronda Jennings ok Thanks so much girl
April W. replied:
Genia Taylor Church yes that's who I was gonna go to originally (Dr. Susong) but he is not accepting new patients..... I'll call back though to check with the nurse practitioner... Thanks hun

Does anyone have a recommendation for a dermatologist in Chattanooga?
Tyson C. replied:
Dr. Andrews - Chattanooga Skin and Cancer - he's awesome and much easier to get in to see than his counterpart Dr. Banks. I highly recommend Dr. Andrews! 423-899-2700
Pat H. replied:
Dr Susong. Hard to get in but worth it.
Carol G. replied:
I go to Dr. Reynolds at Chatt. Skin and Cancer and like him pretty well. He's a little quite, but did a good job removing a large cancer from my leg last year.
Denice R. replied:
Dr Susong, very nice Christian man who is very intelligent dermatologist.
Chattanooga friends, I need a good dermatologist in town. Do not want to go back to Dr. Bank's office because I am not a big fan of his PA. Any suggestions

This Florida sun goddess needs a good dermatologist in Chattanooga.. Any recommendations?? #sunprotection #spf
Matilda W. replied:
My whole family uses Chattanooga Skin and Cancer Clinic. Anyone there is great!
Sue C. replied:
I see Megan Stimpson, PA. 423-870-3376. If you have a burn right now, spray apple cider vinegar mixed with water on the burn. Don't know why, but it works.
I need some recommendations for a GOOD/GREAT Dermatologist in my area...preferably someone between Knoxville and Chattanooga. The doctor who did my surgery only does...
Alecia S. replied:
Come see me at new job, dermatology specialist, 524-7107 :-)
Vicky H. replied:
Alecia I sooo wish I had known u are working for a dermatologist before I had my surgery. Maybe one of your docs would have referred me to a Mohs surgeon who actually explains things to their patients because mine sure didn't. Dr Hanggi spent very little time with me and the only reason I knew he performed a skin flap was because the after care paper was on how to care for Mohs surgery with a skin flap!
Need a recommendation for dermatologist in Chatty. Gotta get these weird bald spots taken care of ASAP.
Lauren A. replied:
That's crazy!! Sharon Brown is another one I know of she worked in Susong's office.
Jaime K. replied:
Dr Susong and his staff . He's considered the best. My whole family sees him. He found and has treated my mom for many instances of precancerous skin spots.
Dana C. replied:
Dr. Fennewald is weird as the day is long, but an excellent dermatologist. I have also received excellent treatment from Dr. Banks (who is also not exactly Mr. Personality). If you're looking for high-priced products, cosmetics, and a "luxury" experience, Susong is your guy. For serious medical issues, Dr. Banks is who you want. If it's not life-threatening, Fennewald is great, easy to get into, and has a very common-sense, no-bullshit approach. I also cannot recommend Kathryn Nunes highly enough. She is marvelous, and I literally trust my life to her every six months. She's the physician's assistant at Chattanooga Skin & Cancer (Dr. Banks) and she is thorough, educated, intelligent and I absolutely depend on her.
Heather S. replied:
Hair Club for Men!
Michelle C. replied:
Dr. Banks is my first choice for myself & personal referrals. Dr. Susong is my second. Both are good with rare & common issues. You are in good hands either way.
I need to know THE BEST dermatologist in Chattanooga...ready go..
Shelia S. replied:
I love Dr. Alan Davis. Small but efficient practice. Susong is great but scheduling is tough.
Renee W. replied:
Dr Banks
Paula M. replied:
Dr Susong...prob can't get in to see him though.
Paula M. replied:
Megan and I have see a nurse practioner at Dr Susong office.
Paula M. replied:
We started out years ago seeing Dr Susong, he was wonderful. Cured some stuff other docks couldn't.
Norma J. replied:
I go to Susong but Karen Brown is now with Dr. Banks. I saw Emily Brewer and really liked her. Susong doesn't take new patients but the NP refers you to him like they did me because the surgery was on my face. Emily is young and efficient.
