Need suggestions for wedding caterer, DJ, and photographer. Hey all!
It looks like I'll be getting married in July-ish, so I was wondering if you all could recommend...

Arlyne Vanhook is an amazing photographer. www.arlynevanhook.com I do not have a suggestion for a caterer, but I can tell you I do not recommend events with taste. They did my wedding last year, and while presentation was amazing I would say the food and service was subpar for the price I paid.

Shane and his wife are two of the best photographers I've ever seen. They are very laid back, and will work with you in every way possible. They are there all day, not just 8 hours, they have two photographers (his wife Beth) and they don't charge travel fees. Our wedding was the 17 th, and by the 19 th our first pic was on Huffington Post. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/see-who-got-married-this-weekend_5624 fb2 ae4 b0 bce347014 a7 e (Number 14) Oh ya, they are also half the price of everyone else we checked. http://www.shanehawkinsphoto.com/ https://www.facebook.com/shanehawkinsphoto

Got married 2 weeks ago. Sequoyah Entertainment provided DJ services for our wedding and they were AWESOME. Google them and you'll find their site. Impressions Catering did our catering and it was good. Based out of Cleveland. Photographer was Brittany with Life with a View studios. She did AMAZING.

My gf is a fantastic caterer. She has done two wedding receptions in the past month, inluding one for a redditor I communicated with after he made an info request similar to yours in this sub. PM me if you'd like me to get in touch with you to give you some ideas and provide a bid.

I got married last year, and had great vendors all around. Caterer: onthelistcatering.com They have a list of vendors they work with regularly, but they can go anywhere. DJ: http://www.detourdj.com/ Affordable, easy to work with, and great! Photographer: http://stevenllorca.com/ He was affordable and wonderful! Our Client Gallery is "Monica & Brandon's Wedding" and the password is baker. Cake: http://yellowcakecompany.com/ Flowers: http://humphreysflowers.com/

http://riverstreet-deli.com/ You should look into River Street Deli for catering. I've been to multiple weddings (including my own) that used them and Bruce always delivers.

I would suggest White table (http://www.thewhitetable.com) for linens and things of that nature. They do tons of events around Chattanooga and have a solid reputation. Friend of mine is of their main designers. edit: I can not spell good and stuff.

Brian Graham saw the post and sent me this message. "I am booked on October 12. That is the HOTTEST date of the year for the fall season, since it is the ONLY open UT Footballl weekend for October. I've been booked since September last year. Since it is in Chattanooga, I recommend either Jeremy Jones with Entertainment Solutions, out of Ringgold, GA (http://www.esdj.com/) or Sound Force (http://www.partychattanooga.com/)"

Matt Uhlman- he's traveled to Memphis before...I bet you could convince him to go to Chatt. I wouldn't endorse a boring DJ- the dude knows what a party should sound like.
Kane W. replied:
As Ash said, see if Jason Peterson is available!
Larz H. replied:
Thanks, Julie McKenzie...I appreciate it, but I'm already double-booked that day. Mandy, this October is turning out to be the busiest wedding month all year, so I hope you can find someone. If you'll visit my website (DetourDJ.com) and fill out the quote form, I'll pass it around to all the quality DJ's I know (guys who know how to work a wedding and not just a club).
