[Humphrey's](http://humphreysflowers.com/) is great! They're a family business that's been around forever. If you want something classic and lovely, it's the way to go!

I've worked at BiLo throughout my college years, and they usually have great arrangements and bouquets if you're on a budget. I like the one on Brainerd Road the best but East Ridge is good too. If you call ahead they'd be able to make you whatever you want if it's something specific or at least a price. I've personally worked at the one on Brainerd Road and love the work she does.

Food city for cheap, Whole Foods also used to carry a decent selection

Whole Foods has nice flowers for pretty reasonable prices. Also has flowers, Kroger as well. Should be able to get something for under $20. And if you need a vase, Dollar stores or Goodwill is your best spot. In the end, it's the thought that matters and she'll love them regardless.

Too late to help you now. Aldi for flowers (Walmart second choice) and twhrift stores for vases. May not be the most beautiful arrangement, but it the thought that counts.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone!! I got her some lovely flowers from food city :) wish I had seen that lupis comment earlier but it worked out

Any grocery store, or even Walmart, will have bouquets that are $7.99-$9.99 and don't look like complete trash. They won't be roses, but that doesn't sound like what you need. Wal-Mart usually keeps them in/next to the produce section. If all else fails, I don't think it would be the end of the world if you just bought some $1.99 fake floral picks and arranged them in a Dollar Tree vase. It's the thought that counts. And it's not like your gramma doesn't know you're broke. Tell her that Internet Stranger wishes her well on her procedure.

Publix. And their flowers last a very long time.

I would get my wife flowers at food city. They got the nicer prettier stuff that obviously cost more, but they also have small assortment of flowers. Bought 8 sunflowers the other week - 4 for $5.99
noogapup replied:
http://www.lupi.com/flying-turtle-farm It sucks to slum it, but, ask for some at Lupi's. They always have hugermongus bunchess and without a doubt will give you some if they haven't been tossed already.... Closed Monday so stopping Sunday may get you all or none.

When I was poor I would just buy my girlfriend one stem from the florist. It'd be like 4 dollars, and it was still was pretty. I know I'm a dude and probably don't understand, but if it was me I'd rather have one stem once a week than a bouqet every other month.

Publix has s much better selection than Food City.
