Dr Medlock up in Peabody. Did an amazing job on my neck surgery. And I would recommend acupuncture for healing after. https://www.healthgrades.com/physician/dr-michael-medlock-y7 ssw

Prachi Mahurkar, my dog was referred to Tufts (Cummings Animal Hospital) in N. Grafton . She had surgery there and was treated so wonderfully. Her surgery was expensive, but they have payment plans and are wonderful people. Her surgeon was amazing and took a long time to sit with us and explain the procedure. She was loved and taken care of in an amazing manner. One day when we had to leave her to go home, the vet tech laid down with her in the cage (which was big enough to it 2 adults and the dog, laying down ) and comforted her. I can't recommend them enough. Go there for a second opinion, please.

Who did you see at Mass Vet?? Dr Silva?? She is the best!
Shana F. replied:
We saw a cardiologist at Mass Vet and we were super impressed. They seem to have excellent specialty doctors there. So while I offer no advice, you probably are in great hands. So sorry to hear about your pup and best of luck with a very tough situation.
Noni S. replied:
Mass Vet, specifically Dr. Mark Troxel has been keeping our little one alive since 2012. She has GME and that is usually a fatal diagnosis. She has not had surgery, but has had multiple spinal taps, MRIs and goes monthly for treatment. Can't say enough about the docs and staff there.
Nance G. replied:
Have also used Mass Vet, not for a dog, but for a few cats.. they are very good..
Not sure if this is the right page to post, but I am looking for recommendations of a good neurologist that specializes in Dementia and/or Alzheimer's in the area. Thanks
