I love Dr. Sheila Galvin at Gilchrist, Servigny, Galvin on Meeting House. The NP we often saw when my son was younger is amazing also. Dr Galvin has been spot on with all of my son's issues and is great at sending him to specialists when she thinks he needs it. She doesn't judge at all, explains everything and really takes the time to go over all the possible issues/treatments. I can not recommend her enough.

Greater Lowell Pediactrics in Westford. My son sees Dr. Kaplan, but over the years we have seen the other Docs in the practice for sick visits and I love them all... Great Practice!!
Jamie D. replied:
We changed from Drum Hill pediatrics to Greater Lowell Pediatrics in Westford and love it there. Incredibly easy to get last minute appts, great doctors and never a wait when we go in. Dr Dubner even responds to non urgent questions when he's on vacation!

Drs Gilchrist, Sevigny and galvin
Joyce B. replied:
Pediatrics West
Betsy H. replied:
Pediatrics West has the perks of a large practice, convenient hours, same day sick visits, morning (before school) walk in hours, quick call backs from nurses, lab and radiology across the hall, etc. But they also have the downfalls of a large practice, lack of personal touch and building a relationship with your practitioner. It depends on what's important to you and your family. We've been going there for 10 years and will stay because the conveniences are important to us. Good luck!
Valerie W. replied:
Dr. Gilchrist!! He's very intelligent and excellent with my children! The entire staff, nurses, receptionists, etc are so kind and caring! I also call in to talk with the nurse when I have some questions. Even open on Saturdays. You won't be disappointed!:)
Shannon D. replied:
Dr. Gilchrist's office on Meetinghouse Road!
Holly P. replied:
We've been at Chelmsford Pedi in Village Square for 18 years and have been happy with all of our Drs. Meikle, Morehouse, Formaggio, Rayala and Bayrak. We just met their newest the other day (can't recall his name...) but we liked him, too.

Dr. Ghilcrest. ..the staff is amazing and the office is very clean.
Lindsay S. replied:
Highly recommend Dr Galvin at Gilchrist on meeting house road. My son (19 months old) has had a rough go of it for a while and she, and the whole team there, has been fantastic. She has sent me to a few specialists down at tufts, and have gotten the answers we need and the plans we need to keep him healthy and happy. I truly can't say enough about her.

We love Dr. Solomon and Dr. Tara Thurston. They have weekend urgent care which is helpful. We have been using them since our oldest was born, almost 16 years ago.
Heather S. replied:
Our primary pedi is Dr. Tresch and we love her. She is a developmental pediatrician and is patient, thorough and responsive. My son broke his arm on a holiday weekend while we were out of town and she called to check on him and advise us on next steps for his care.
Stephanie G. replied:
We've had Dr. Tresch for nine years. The evening and weekend hours are great and if you need same day (like flu/strep), we have always been able to see someone. It may not be your pediatrician but we have seen most of them once or twice for sick visits and have been happy.
Emily D. replied:
We see Dr. Salomon, and others when we go in unscheduled, we are very happy there!

Dr. Tresch is great
Steve G. replied:
We use Dr Tresch at Harvard Vanguard and she is great. I have heard some parents complain about high turnover at the office there, but we've had Dr Tresch for five years now no problem. We actually did have to go to Pediatrics West for insurance reasons for a year, but went back to Harvard Vanguard as soon as we could.
Jeanie C. replied:
Dr Tresch at Harvard Vanguard was wonderful as our son's PCP, and rest of the team has always been good for us.
Jessica G. replied:
Love HVG! Dr. Kostos is new to the practice and is accepting patients. He is amazing, very caring, concerned and wonderful Dr. I highly recommend them. Their after hours, on call, urgent care is great too! The practice usually runs on time, nurses are great. Can't say enough good things.
Betsey D. replied:
We've been going to Dr. Solomon for 20 years, for 5 kids. He's wonderful. I just pray he doesn't retire until my youngest outgrows pediatrics!
Stephanie U. replied:
My 3 yr old sees Dr Salomon...he and his staff are fabulous
Deborah L. replied:
All three of my kids had their primary care with pediatricians from that office. My oldest, now 30, switched out for a while in his teens, as there were no male pediatricians available to him there at that time. My next son is still a patient of Dr. Salomon, and he is wonderful! He has worked with us to make sure that my son can easily continue to get his meds while at college out of state. My youngest is a girl, so she has had female doctors. (Both of my younger kids had the same doctor for many years, until she retired.) She is currently seeing Dr. Thurston, and she loves her. She is great with teens, which my daughter is.
Michelle P. replied:
I've been there for years! Love it there. They have late and weekend hours. Dr Salamon is the best!!!
Ginger S. replied:
I have to concur with everyone, including some of the negatives. HVMA peds is great overall, but has also had some ups and downs. But I think it's a normal part of the life of a business. While I haven't loved some of the Administrative changes, they seem to be back on an upswing, and the nurses have remained consistent so thete's always a familiar friendly face there. For us the key to success was to build a relationship with 1 doctor and try to insist on seeing them for as many appts as possible, and see the others as back-up for unexpected sicknesses. We have loved Dr. Ramanathan for the past 10yrs (she was also ped for my SIL many years ago), and since she is retiring we have to choose a new doctor, and are definitely going to try to stay at HVMA. Good Luck!!
Tara D. replied:
Dr Lee and Dr Salomon, luv them there
Lydia L. replied:
Dr. Tresch is amazing
Ree C. replied:
My son has been going to Dr. Solomon there since he was born (he's 13). We love the pediatrics dept and it's super convenient to have everything in the building. We've never had an issue being seen right away for a sick visit. and rarely have to wait more than 10 - 15 minutes to be seen once we arrive.
Diane M. replied:
Our pedi Dr Ramanathan just retired, she was my pedi. With that being said we like all the Drs there. My girls now she Dr. Ramadan and she is great.
Heather A. replied:
We see Dr. Lee there, she has been great. I like that the pharmacy is in the same building and their urgent care services have been great for us as well.
Mike L. replied:
No issues with them. Both my kids have Dr Lee as their primary doctor. Have been seen by the other Doctors there as well and find them to be highly competent.
Jennifer L. replied:
My daughter was a patient of Dr. Jennifer Delikat until she left for college. I would totally recommend her and over the years she was treated by other doctors and NPs there and all were great.
You all were so helpful with my last question that I'm trying another! Any recommendations for pediatricians or pediatric practices in the Chelmsford area?

Subroto M. replied:
Dr. Rekha Quazi in Chelmsford
Christine S. replied:
Pediatrics West, I've been there for over 16 years with my 3 kids they are the best run doctors office. I have always been able to get an appointment either in the Groton or Westford office 7 days a week. I've been lucky enough to only have to visit the ER once and that was because they sent me there from their office. I really can't say enough about all the employees there.

Jennifer G. replied:
We love Dr Eagan!! We've seen a lot of the other Drs and NP's there and we think they are all great!! Haven't met one person I haven't liked! They also aren't afraid to consult with each other or refer you to someone with specialized knowledge. We had an emergent visit when my youngest was 2 mos and the NP we saw went and got our dr, another dr, and the allergist (who works upstairs) all in one visit!
Cynthia S. replied:
Dr. Eagan is wonderful. Been going there over 5 years.
Anne W. replied:
We love, love, love Dr. Athanasiou. He is so calm and takes a real interest in his patients -- he'll take time to talk to them about their interests, what they're doing in and out of school. Valerie W. replied:
I moved to Chelmsford five years ago when I was also expecting. I'm sure you'll find them all great. I personally liked Dr. Gilchrist's office first because of the reputation. I love all the doctors there, the waiting room, the cleanliness, the ease of appt making, open on saturdays, friendliest reception staff, nurses that we call by name now (we've had a lot of visits) and I use the on call nurse often to help with any questions. Good luck in your search and congrats on your soon to be baby!:)
Adelle S. replied:
Have you considered a Family practice instead of Pediatrician? At a family practice, they care for people from day one until the end of life. We have been very happy with the care we have received. And we like the doctors have 'family history' right there in the practice. We go to Chelmsford Family Practice.
Elizabeth R. replied:
Dr. Gilchrist is the best! We have also seen other doctors in the office and they have been great!

Chris H. replied:
Dr Gilchrist is great. They also have weekend hours.
Kristyn C. replied:
Been going to Gilchrist's office for years, they're very good. We went to Greater Lowell Pedi in Westford since the kids were born but they dismissed one of the kids as a patient over a $30 mis-billing that wasn't even our responsibility after 25 years of being patients (I went there as a kid and so did Phil)...so we didn't argue it and pulled them all.
Kelly S. replied:
Drum Hill pediatrics. They are all great.
Tara B. replied:
We've used Drumhill Pedi since the kids were born we love them!
Chelmsford mom's I am looking for a new pediatrician office in the area, what are your recommendation? Thanks in advance.

Kris F. replied:
I like Westford Pedi ' s medical staff, especially Dr. A and Dr. Sheehy, but they have horrible office staff issues. Lost papers, rude, not answering the phone during business hours.
Paula M. replied:
I love Pedi West - been going there since Hannah was a baby. Have been very happy with them. We see Dr. A and Dr. Eagan.
Jennifer M. replied:
We are at Harvard Vanguard as well. We like our pediatrician, Dr Delikat... but HATE the system and flow over there! Since my health crisis I've been toying with the thought of getting out of Harvard Vanguard. Feel like just a number and no privacy on the way out. I don't know if it's any better anyplace else. Please share if you have good luck!!
Kimberley B. replied:
I would not recommend Harvard Vanguard for several reasons. Email me if you want more info!
Friend of mine is inquiring about a Pediatrician in Chelmsford area. I gave my opinion, anyone else? Thanks.

Stacey M. replied:
New England Mental health is a great place!
Adelle S. replied:
While we are also patients at NEMH, in Littleton, we had my son's neuropsych testing done in Newton at ICCD Integrated Center for Child Development because they could do the testing in the time frame needed. Was incredibly impressed by the staff, how they spoke to kids and parents. I find NEMH to be a mill sometimes. And definitely into self promotion in terms of services offered by varied practitioners. ICCD felt more child focused. Then again, my child was a teen and never recieved behavioral therapy in Littleton, only meds.
