Awwww Melanie, walking into a new class takes some courage but believe me once you have done it you will be fine! I have had plenty of nervous people walk into my classes and never looked back, no clicks! Everyone is made to feel welcome and as sue and Jemma have said, they have made lots of friends, they have fun while working out, and no one cares if you go In a different direction to everyone else. We provide zumba fitness, konga (jungle body) and 'strictly fitsteps'. Have a look at the website zumbawithsueandkirsty.co.uk or feel free to message me

They have a FB page just search Tewkesbury All Runners. The beginners group is currently on week 7 and runs for 10 weeks then a new group starts, I have now progressed up to a green and it's only £2 a week Thursday's are free.

Hi Megan Hill just resent message I work out of RPT Studio opposite Kwik Fit Stroud Road Gloucester and at The Gym Cheltenham above Up & Running both studios are are fully equipped and allow me to put my clients through there paces:)
I would say it depends when you want to go, budget and what you personally want to get out of the gym. All of the gyms in Cheltenham are worn out and haven't been updated within the last 3 years. I would say simply gym because it's cheap, ok location, and it's got a bit of size to it. Fitnessfirst if you got a bigger budget just because equipment in some ways are better and location is also good if you live close to town but still needs an update. I would avoid fitness4 less at all costs it's small, cramped, with poor quality equipment including broken dumbells, ok location, but due to the size and the fact it is so busy in the evenings, everyone is very protective over the equipment, because of this it gives a very sad and angry atmosphere (not the good kind of angry). If your a morning person and have transport I would go for The Gym in Gloucester it's 24 hr, cheap, clean and relatively quick turn around when it comes to machine repairs. I used to go there at 5 am no one there for obvious reasons but if your new to the gym and a bit self conscious it's a great time to go to get yourself into the swing of things to make yourself feel more confident and make your feel like a modern day warrior getting a workout in before work. Good luck
