Alex Redworth, when you come to see me on Sunday, ask me about SCENAR - drug-free pain relief, if this is going to be an ongoing challenge for you because of your profession, then this will be invaluable for you. http://www.equilibrium-health.com/our-services/scenar-pain-relief/

I've worked with a number of work related issues caused by overworked muscle groups and imbalance. I would recommend Gua Sha as an effective treatment to release tissue or a tool assisted therapist. You can work on the spine all you want but the muscle will soon help the spine to revert back to the original posture, especially if the posture is trained in, repetitive training of the wrong kind. Indian clubs are great to learn and will help mobilise the shoulder. Likely cause, weak glutes, weak chest, tight lower lats, poor ankle mobility/stability. Poor glute/hamstring activation. The glutes and hamstrings help to power up and can help stabilise your upper body, without intervention the upper body is doing all the work, tough going for most, especially for prolonged periods.

hi Alex, i recommend Jemma of 3 d pysiotherapy, not only will she cure the symptons but she'll also look at whats causing the issues and help correct them as they say prevention is better than cure, she even comes recomended from LBN stalwart Rick Notley https://www.facebook.com/3 dphysiotherapy/?fref=ts
Louise J. replied:
Alex, I would recommend a different approach. Contact the lovely Rachel Stevens. She's at Frampton-on-Severn and she teaches The Alexander Technique. Not only will this alleviate your current symptoms but she will be able to show you how to work without causing further damage. So, it's a long-term solution rather than a short-term fix. www.backcareandposture.co.uk

Hi Emma. Well you havn't tried Bowen yet then have you ??? I can cover Cheltenham and can be flexible with appointment times. Bowen is a really gentle form of soft tissue manipulation that is perfect for all ages, health issues and can be administered during most 'conditions' - including pregnant ladies ! there is a web site if you would like more info - and please pm me if you would like to chat more.... www.bardleybowen.co.uk
Kerry B. replied:
Hi Emma Bolton. I'm in Cheltenham and I treat pregnant ladies with massage and/or reflexology. Postural changes in pregnancy can make the muscles contract a lot and this makes things very painful. If you would like to contact me please see www.reflexologyandmassage.co.uk or give me a call on 01242 675115. Best wishes with whichever route you try :-)

Stu fixed my achilles, the other ankle, IT band and flutes in the build up to Bournemouth marathon! He's also sorting friend's shoulders and backs with great results. Give him a call on 07940 102905 and mention my name, he'll get you in for a free consultation and tell you what's needed, even if it isn't him!

Hi Leanne Levi it's likely that your pelvis is uneven due to high mileage and structural posture problems. Check out my Rossiter Workouts on my Website. It's likely you will need that type to realign you. Happy to see you My website www.therackhameffect.com. I treat a few members with massage and Rossiter.

If you want to be pummelled to within an inch of your life Bruce is good: http://www.brucedowling.co.uk/
James C. replied:
Rachel at Parkrun is good, and she's there before the run starts so you could actually sneak on the table while everyone is out on the course for a slightly longer rub down. It's also worth pinpointing what a 'niggle' is, so find a physio who does free consultation and just get a once over. I use Stuart Fosella at Straight Back Physiotherapy who has been fantastic, he'll let you know if those niggles are just tired legs or whether you need to be doing a bit more than massage to fix them.

Hi Karen my son does a fixed price website for £99 and you own it with all admin logins etc for updating and refreshing. It's done on wordpress prebuilt for you with your colours and logo, you then just add your content and photos where it says "add here" - easy peasy. You also get six months hosting and you can continue with that for £10 a month if you wish or move it to your own host. The only other expense is your domain name which you would want to own anyway and cost usually under a fiver a year. www.fivedaywebsite.co.uk
