Can anyone recomend a cheltenhm based nutritionist/dietician with experience in migraine/anxiety/post gall bladder removal diet?
Sarah B. replied:
Hello.. I still got pain for about a year after, they said it was my body remembering the pain and basically making it up as it has got so used to it before I had it taken out. Helen Mawson from Complete Balance is a nutritionist and therapist In the Chelt area. I can also recommend a treatment called Kineselogy that she does, this is great for pain and also finding out what your body reacts too. http://www.complete-balance.co.uk/about/

Interesting Lyndsay Cyphus re Vit D, I've had migraines for years. Louisa Trunks is it you for migraine? Sumitriptan is the only medication that has ever worked for me. Talk soon x
Robin C. replied:
Diet wouldn't make any difference to pain related to gall bladder removal, I would see your GP. As to migraine, there may well be triggers, but definitely avoid artificial sweeteners, particularly aspartame/nutrasweet/amino sweet (they are the same thing), anything that says 'diet' or 'low fat' will have it in, but check ingredients of everything, it is even in Lemsip. As to nutritionists, either Helen Mawson or Dawn Swinley will be able to help.
Dawn S. replied:
Hi I'm a nutritional therapist based in Gloucester and I've had my gall bladder removed. If you'd like some help either message or email me dawn@mode-de-vie.co.uk
Jane W. replied:
See your GP and consult a hypnotherapist who deals in pain management, we can actually help ourselves to manage pain patterns, and hypnosis can work really well for migraine and BWRT® is fab for anxiety. www.bwrt.org

Adam S. replied:
people over complicate this stuff massively, i can fix your migraines (for the most part), put you in touch with the best in the world in the field of anxiety, and as for the pain - well, it's kinda straight forward, think what the gall bladder did, and what now happens - from there you can understand food choices if you understand what the gall bladder's purpose was! :-) just ask and ill help. https://www.facebook.com/481534188523575 Intelligent Eating
