April P. replied:
Geraldine what kind of pet do you have? Medford Animal Hospital is great, there are many good vets in the area. House Paws can come to you, costs a bit more for the service, but well worth it especially if you have pets that get stressed traveling to vet . Mt Laurel AH handles emergencies 24 hrs and so does Redbank in Cherry Hill which is good if you have an emergency and it's already your pet's vet. AWA is a private shelter in Voorhees and reduced rate shots are great, but your own vet is best in my opinion.
Kate B. replied:

Lisa Aumiller of House Paws is great. They are a mobile vet and will come to your home. Garden State in Cherry Hill is really good too - Dr. Ball and Dr. Leff are my favorites.
Any recommendations for a reasonably priced vet? I have a dog and a cat, no frills, just a good place for a yearly checkup :) thanks!

Winslow Animal hospital is i think $50 an office visit not sure if that is what you call reasonable but that is what i pay for all three of my pets.
Jeanie W. replied:
I use Evesham...Office visit/exam $50 each pet. I have heard great things about House Paws mobile !. Be sure to checkout AWA clinicawanj.org . They are non profit and rely solely on donations to subsidize their.community services including the clinics. Not sure if they do well care visits.

Sheila P. replied:
A complete senior work-up and examination was done prior to my boy's dental. And, if Dr. Dazen didn't think he was a good candidate it would have never been done. That was his last dental and the remaining 2 years of his life he was on pulse therapy with Clindamycin and I would daub his gums and teeth down with C.E.T. Chris Maurer a consult ($55) with Dr. Dazen is what I would recommend for Laura.
Mary C. replied:
Joan - Dr Fiorito knows her stuff. My first Grey had horrible teeth. At 3 years old, she had to perform root canal on a couple of teeth and also built up a broken lower canine which lasted his entire life. She knows greys and will perform blood work prior to any other work that she does. I found her through a referral from my primary vet. She is not cheap but in my opinion very good
Gordon B. replied:
We had our Suzy, a 14 year old return, that had never had a dental, done at the NGAP vet in Philadelphia. The results were outstanding. 10 teeth were pulled and the cleaning done and she was given a new lease on life. It made an incredible difference. The vet was: Dr. Aime Berman. Also, Red Bank offers dentals, but very expensive.
Sheila P. replied:
Gordon Balbach I have heard many good things about Dr. Aime Berman
Gordon B. replied:
Sheila Munson Piccone, as far as we are concerned, they are all true. We always request her when we go there. She amputated Snowy's toe in the fall and our 11 year old Snowy is fully recovered and had no problems after the amputation....

Dr Carlos Rice comes to AERA in Fairfield on Saturdays. I think he's down by Cherry Hill and teaching in PA during the week.
Sheila P. replied:
Chris, I use Dr. Dazen. He specializes in dental. http://www.animalandbirdvet.com/.../mee.../dr-kenneth-dazen/ . I was very comfortable with his expertise. He is the best as far as I am concerned. He put Razor under when Razor was 13 y 3 m and did 4 extractions and 1 growth removal. Razor took a couple months to get back his zest for life 100% and went on to live to 15 1/2.
Jean P. replied:
Dr. Scott Linick, Plainfield Animal Hospital.
Ellen G. replied:
Are you looking for someone who specializes in non-anesthetic dental cleaning? She'll be coming to NJ in April.."Little Silver Animal Hospital" and a private clinic in Toms River.. I've used her for all of my greys since 2008.
I really like Dr. Painter at Banfield in Pet Smart. We have use them for our new puppy. My other family members go to Rothman, I hear they are good too:)
Susan L. replied:
If you have a cat.....right on Haddonfield Road off Maple before the mall. http://catclinicatcherryhill.net
Rolma G. replied:
Dr. Molly Dixon at Rothman in Collingswood is fantastic. She realizes that you don't have all of the money in the world, so she will be a lot more compassionate with getting things done and not force you into anything. Plus, she loves her furry customers and that is so evident. The other vets are good in there, but I read really good reviews about her when I was looking for a vet and she truly livd up to the reviews.
Monica T. replied:
Dr Heller, Maple Shade Animal Hospital. Just up the road.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a veterinarian in the Marlton, NJ area? Have a friend who is looking for a referral for excellent care for her new dog.
Carole C. replied:
Yes! In cherry hill, but only 5 minutes from Marlton. My vet, Dr. Russell Howe-Smith at Petpt. He not only does physical therapy but a regular practice as well, including surgery. He is very smart and very kind, as is the entire staff. He is by far the most reasonably priced vet I have ever used. His number is 856-424-7387.

Patty Fisher at Garden State Animal Hospital in Cherry Hill. I drive from Lumberton to Cherry Hill just for her. (Her practice has grown. Request her when making appt). I filled scripts from every vet office in south jersey.... She is the absolute best. I couldnt find a vet i liked for years after i moved to Lumberton. You will never find a vet more knowledgeable and caring. I have spoken with them all. Trust me
We need vet information please. Looking for a great one that is local. Also a kennel u like for when we go away.
Horror stories too so we know who to stay away from!
Judy S. replied:
We use Cinnaminson Animal Hospital as our vets and they also board there as well. They love our dogs and take great care of them!!
Jennifer B. replied:
Jayme Marcus Bundy. Years ago when we had our dog....we used Maple Shade Animal Hospital and found the Vets very friendly and very caring. We used many places before them and found that price wise....they were best and they did a great job. Good Luck!
Jane H. replied:
Cinnaminson Animal hospital. Been using them since the days of Dr. Graham. I never understand why residents go out of their own towns for services, etc.
Amy B. replied:
I actually took my old shepherd there too. Dr Heller is the only one who would deal with him because his temperament was so off. I also used Sue Battle there for dog training both my dogs.
Melissa V. replied:
We used to take our cats to Mt Laurel Animal Hospital (mostly because we weren't living in Cinna then & then stayed there when we moved because the records were there). They were great...but when we got the pup, we decided something closer was necessary with all the puppy checks (thankful for that since 15 min is about his max in the car! lol) So we started taking Buddy to Cinna Animal Hospital...easy to get appts, decent hours & the staff are friendly.
I need the name of a good vet. Someone who is caring and will take good care of my Brady boy! Let me know any suggestions of who you use.
Barbara D. replied:
Marlton Animal is good too
Robin D. replied:
It's a little far from you but Dr. Hoffman at Mt. Laurel Animal Hospital. What's wrong with Brady?
Sara S. replied:
we like Dr. Kupersmith at Animal & Bird Healthcare.. right across from you on springdale rd
Sara S. replied:
I'm not sure.. maybe? I've also gone to Dr. Bouttee and Dr. Dazen at the practice and they are good too
Barbara S. replied:

Donna G. replied:
We use Garden State Animal Hospital (on Haddonfield Road), either Amy Sklarsky or Patti Fischer - both are great and we've used them as long as we have had pets. The front office staff is wonderful, too.
Ok cat people I have a problem that I need help with. I have a 10 week old kitten that won't use the litter box. Tried changing the litter, didn't work. Any suggestions?...
