Big fan of countryside. I have two puppies now that go there and recently went through the end stages with my older golden there. They have been so warm and welcoming, accommodating and understanding. I love Dr Kaplan. Also Dr Lanzetti and Dr Avery. All have been amazing to our pets.
Stacey M. replied:
I am actually sitting in a room waiting for Dr Pettit. Peticote has been the best I've found in this area. Great staff as well
Kate B. replied:
Hands down Dr. Howe-Smith at PetPT, Cherry Hill. Older dogs and ortho is his specialty. He has done miracles for dogs, including my own. He focuses on PT and other means as treatment. Surgery is his least favored option. Very compassionate man
Does anyone have a recommendation for a vet in the area that actually likes animals?

Both House Paws and Mt. Laurel Animal Hospital have seen my pets. We went into Mt. Laurel Animal Hospital for emergencies twice and both times I couldn't have been happier with the service I received. Once was a Sunday and they were actually quite busy. However, when Dr. Mankowski was in the room with us you would have thought we were the only patient. He was so good. At HousePaws we have seen Dr. Wood and Dr. Cox and both treat my animals as if they were their own. They are SO kind and loving to my babies. HousePaws is so nice because they come to you so it doesn't stress my cats. http://mlahvet.com and http://housepawsmobilevet.com/

We have the BEST VET ever in Hainesport, we have had him for 18 years now and he is the best, a lot of my colleagues and family go there now. Creek's Edge in Hainesport on Rte. 38, We see Dr. Keefe and that is his practice, but we have also seen Dr. Fox or Dr. Brown (can't remember) in emergency when Dr. Keefe just can't see us and they too have been wonderful. The entire staff is awesome. 609-702-9939

Maple Shade Animal hospital is awesome. I like ALL the Vets there. I've had medical issues with my pups. They've always been great!
Cara V. replied:
Mount Laurel Animal Hospital is a good choice, if a little further than Cinnaminson (about 20 minutes out, a little past Rt. 38) They're open 24/7, and even do housecalls now. They have a lot of vets, with a lot of different specialties, so they can handle most things there and that is so much easier than having to go to Penn. The waiting room is pretty big, which helps if you have a cat or a small/old dog you want to shield from the bigger dogs.

The guy that runs Creek's Edge used to work at Mt. Laurel Animal Hospital but left to start his own clinic. In my opinion, he is the way to go. The people at MTL are rude and they don't give a shit about you pet! From my personal experience.
