Jeb’s our on 17 is good as well. Don’t forget the frozen bulgolgi if you go there. It’s great in tacos.

Can anyone recommend this place? [Southern Packing Corporation in Chesapeake, VA.](http://southernpacking.com/index.html) has been in business 75 years. I drove by this place so many times but never stopped in...I regret that. I was younger then and didn't know if they took walk-in customers. They do. This place is a little hidden but you can find it at the [end of old Battlefield Blvd just before it connects to the Chesapeake Expressway (Rt 168)] (http://southernpacking.com/Contact.html) that leads to the Outer Banks.
Recommend a butcher? The last three days, I haven’t been able to get ground beef or chicken from three different grocery stores. Anyone have a good butcher?

Pendulum in Ghent is the best butcher in Hampton Roads IMO. They are a whole animal butcher and usually have beef, pork, lamb, and chicken (may also have other meats- I’d ask when you called); they also make sausages in house with a rotating cast of flavors. Being an whole animal butcher they get a full animal delivered and they butcher it fully in the shop- once they run out though, they’re usually out for a few days.
Currently, they’re only open Thursday thru Sunday doing contactless pickup- basically you call them (if they’re open; email if they aren’t), tell them what you want, they send an invoice to you via email when it’s ready to pick up, you pay online, head over, call when you get there, and they bring it right out. Check out their Instagram page for the weekly sausage lineup.
I’ve used them exclusively for sourcing my household meats for about two years now and I’ve had incredible service and quality product- they didn’t even miss a beat with COVID. I also recommend their in house sandwich menu, and when they close the butcher shop in the evenings, they turn the space over to Codex, who has also been doing some incredible takeaway food.
Does anyone happen to have a coupon code that was good for Walmart's Grocery pickup? Going to finally try it out and I know there was a $10 off but can't remember how to...
