Talk to roofing companies. They might sell you leftover ends of rolls of flashing. Ditto HVAC companies for left over high end and specialty duct work (eg from hospital jobs). Offer a bounty to the recycling yards to keep an eye out for your target. Make friends with the guys with shopping carts who search the alleys....
