There is a Catrike on Dayton Craigslist and a Greenspeed on Cincinnati CL. Peddlers Trikes is the closest dealer to Cbus. Fairfield Cyclery near Cincinnati is the next closest.

Anyone here have recommendations on Bike Shops and Trails in Columbus? Pretty much the title. Girlfriend and I are looking for where we can go to view the fall leaves...

Bicycle One in Gahanna is our family shop and we love it. I always recommend the Ohio to Erie trail portion that goes from Battelle Darby (off alkire road) out to London (and farther if you desire). It's a nice relaxing ride and pretty in the fall. I also recommend (especially at this time of year) portions of the rails to trails up in this area: http://www.holmestrail.com/maps

Paradise Garage is the most popular but it'll be a bit more expensive. RideHome is fairly new but I know 2 of the people working there, I trust them 110%. B1 Bicycle - The mechanics know what they're doing but the owner could really use some better people skills. Those are the only ones I have first-hand experience with. There are also bicycle co-ops, if you don't mind working on your bike yourself, I am at Franklinton Cycle Works often but there's also Third Hand and Bikes for All People. Roll and Trek is hit or miss, some people love them, others don't. Lately I've done everything thru RideHome
Ohm_My_God replied:
As far as trails, that really depends on what part of the city you're in. There is a great expanse of trails all over.

Dave H. replied:
Your best bet may be AJ's bikes and boards in Brandon for rental options. Alafia is always busy on the weekends, but more in a good way. If you want trails to yourself, go on the weekdays. Also check out Balm-Boyette trails near Alafia. Info at www.swampclub.org

The Bike Shop of Columbus! I've been going there for years! But I might personally be a little biased because my husband works there. smile emoticon
Joie M. replied:
The Bike Pedaler is my favorite. But there's also Ride On as well as The Bike Shop. Arnold's has weird hours so I never go there.
