Hijacking, but what about a dry cleaner that doesn't want a ton of $ for dry cleaning dresses?
Any recommendations on dry cleaner/sew shop in Columbus? Any recommendations on an affordable hairdresser in Columbus good with curly hair? Thank you

Nisha Highlyfavored

Rudy and Monica at Salon Belage are both amazing with curly hair. They cut mine Andy daughters and do great with it. As far as a cleaner/seamstress I second the option about the place on hwy 80. It is a locally owned, retired military family.

It's not in Columbus, but Ladonia Cleaners on hwy 80 has done great sewing for me:)
Anyone have a referral for a good dry cleaner on the east side?
Anita J. replied:
I had the same issue---Chinese Laundry by Eastland--NEVER AGAIN! Just dropped my articles off at Callender Cleaners on 256...we shall see on Friday when I pick them up. Price--better than Swan's sis....1 suit was 13.20 (jacket and skirt) winter coat was $14.20.
It should be noted that we have some AMAZING local businesses in Gahanna. I took a gamble and trusted my wedding dress to a little shop on 62 -Star Cleaners- to have it...

I have to politely state that you were very lucky. We were regular customers for about 6 years, then we had a rash of 4 shirts and a sweater torn by them. Owner was beyond rude, despite our repeat business there for the many years prior. Company has officially made our family "boycott" list. We use Rockwood Cleaners just up the street and the difference is astonishing. Glad your wedding dress turned out okay though.
