Tiddles B. replied:
I found the GC Uni Dental clinic great for basic things.. ask about the wisdom tooth though.. they dont do anything too involved that i know of. many dentists on the GC seem to do a payment system for Ortho work.. not sure about extractions. My son had to have 4 wisdom teeth surgically removed and it cost $2000 approx. so I wouldnt think 1 ectraction would cost much.
Sharon D. replied:
You need to speak to Oral Health and apply for Emergency Voucher, possibly get about 5 per year worth about $260 each. Tell them your in bad pain to access the voucher. You will need to tell which is your nearest Oral Health Clinic, present Medicare card and take the Emergency Voucher to your private Dentist.
Jayme-Lee W. replied:
You could go to qld health but you will be waiting min a month for a initial appointment/assessment. Gcuh dentist school is amazing. I have had a root canal down there. Mine was free so don't know about costing. But they are well supervised and I have had very professional experiences

Not personally but I do know it works. Hubby had it done. I would recommend talking to Elizabeth Hele at Esteem Medi Spa as this is an advanced treatment and should be done by someone with specialty training. Can't recommend Liz or the treatment highly enough.

Kate R. replied:
I'm a big fan of Dr Kee Ong at Monash IVF. Nothing against other Dr's. Dr Ong only does fertility so spends 100% of his time researching fertility or making women pregnant. Other Dr's multi task and do a bit of everything but don't concentrate purely on fertility like dr Ong does.
