Cannot fault BlueCare, Anglicare or OzCare, plus minimal fees; can also ring Home & Community Care (HACC) for advice & referral

I recommend calling My Aged Care on 1800 200 422. You can also find additional info on ACAT and high/low level care packages, as well as numbers for ACAT providers in your area, on the website. There have been a lot of changes to aged care services since the site was launched in July so somebody from there will be able to explain it all to you and talk you through the next steps to take. http://www.myagedcare.gov.au

Call My Aged Care and get an assessment - they can do both home care & residential care approvals. The 'new' level 1 to 4 packages are in home & depends on the level to number of hrs care received. Some providers don't charge a fee some do & you can top up funding to receive more care.

Try seniorsonthenet.org.au they used to have an office in Southport. Also check out the Runaway Bay library. Iirc, they may run some classes
