Depending on where you live in Suseong-Gu there are a lot of options. There is a Taekwondo gym at beomeo junction. Just called Beomeo Taekwon. The master there speaks pretty good english and is a nice guy. Fearless Muay Thai is just beside suseong-office station. Great gym and has a nice crowd in it. Saegye-taekwon is in Jisan-dong. Nice gym but limited english last time I was there. Still a good place to learn. In-sung Hapkido in Jisa has a friendly crowd at night. Ages vary between middle school-University students Good places all around. I heard that a Taekwondo gym near Hwanggeum is great too and the master speaks english but I've never been there.

Hey Anne Jenkins Ferloni, hope you're keeping well :). there are a number of Daegu MMA gyms around the city that teach jiujitsu and some of them teach kickboxing too. if you post the same question on http://www.facebook.com/groups/10327573481/ you'll get a better response though.

oh, i think i've heard there's a gym inside Keimyung College Univ. U could ask it to Keimyung College Univ. (i searched this number, but this number may incorrect. 053-589-7900 ) Otherwise u should walk from there like 10-15 min to find personal trainer. ( i guess...)

If you get on the green line, you'll wanna head to the Jukjeon stop towards Munyang. When you get there, you can call me and we'll come pick you up. It's not hard to find, but we don't have a great success rate of directing people there. My number is 010-7637-7783.

Ok, the number for the Ulsan Fight Gym is 052-249-1062 and it's across the street from one of the Universities, but don't ask me which one becuase I honestly don't remember.

Yeungnam High School (behind the KFC on the corner) has courts to play on when students aren't on their break between classes. Usually get a group of Korean lads playing when I used to walk home. Gym, there is an ok one in the building next to the Daegu bank (has a foreign bank on the bottom but can't remember the name). Go to the 8 th floor and you will find it, no English but guys that run it are always friendly.

There is a pond in daegok. It's on the same street Lotte Department Store is on. It is a kind of nice area.

Hit Gym by Home Plus is great! Pretty cheap and lots of unique equipment. It's on the fourth floor above Daiso. PM me if you need directions or have questions!
