Dog Boarding Suggestions Hey dog parents! I am looking for suggestions for a ethical, reliable, fun, and cost effective boarding or pet sitting place in the Atlanta area...

Spot for Dogs. itās one of the only places that has someone sleep there. I worry about fires

I'm so high I read the title and thought it was like waterboarding but with dogs lmao. like this - https://youtu.be/aGE39IsemFw?t=25

I use DiOGi and they have been fantastic. They come to your house a couple of times a day and feed/walk your dog. My dogs don't like being boarded so this is perfect for us. [https://di-o-gi.com/](https://di-o-gi.com/)

[K-9 Coach](https://www.k-9 coach.com/) is awesome but you have to be a member for boarding :( It may not work for your upcoming trip but if you're looking for somewhere to use on an ongoing basis, I highly recommend.

I really like Dog Dayz. They donāt keep dogs in cages all day (most of the time they roam free with all the other dogs), so you need to get a ātrialā appointment so they can make sure your dog isnāt aggressive with stranger dogs and the employees. But, theyāre great! My dog hates kennels but she sometimes doesnāt want to leave Dog Dayz. Plus, they have webcams up so you can watch your dog live whenever.

I'm a Rover host and have hosted a few of the r/Atlanta regular's dogs. 175 5 star reviews, tons of repeat guests and your dog is treated like a member of the family through their entire visit. If we're available for the dates you need, would love to set up a meeting with our dogs to see if it is a good fit.
sudonem replied:
One more vote for Rover. It's basically AirBNB for dogs. My main recommendation is that when you find someone that has decent reviews, make a point of meeting them with your pup before your trip just to get a feel for them and their place.
RightShoeRunner replied:
I use Briarcliff Animal Hospital because of the 24 hr medical facility and I can p/up my dogs any time of day. They are a little pricier than other but I enjoy the comfort of knowing if something goes wrong thereās a Dr on site.

Try [rover.com](https://rover.com). I had good luck there. There's a guy on there, you should be able to search him. "Nicolas S." He is in Decatur, has a fenced in yard, and either he or his girlfriend work from home, so your dog gets constant attention. Very reasonable pricing. And even if you don't him, still try Rover. Find it is a little less jarring for the dog than going to a facility with a bunch of other animals.

I use [Pet's Playhouse](https://www.petsplayhouse.com) in Decatur. They have multiple webcams that you can check in on periodically.
BJNats replied:
Doguroo in West Midtown has always been good to us, though they want you to leave your dog there for a day just to make sure he/she does well with the others before you board. Live cams and daily pictures uploaded of the dogs.

[Sawnee Dog Retreat](https://www.sawneedogretreat.com/) is awesome! Our dog always loves going there and has blast while there. Its also nice in that they update their instagram story a bunch everyday and you can catch a peak of your dog running around
