It’s a bit out of the way but I highly suggest Dr. Reese. We drive 2 1/2 hrs away for all our animal needs, they allow monthly payments and only charge 1% interest. We spent $1400 a couple days ago on two dogs and we are making monthly payments. The staff is great and they do a lot of their own in house testing. https://www.facebook.com/WhitehouseVeterinaryHospital/
We just moved to Weatherford. Can anyone recommend a good vet for our dogs?
Christy T. replied:
Nelson. Does not try to sell you services you don't need. Very reasonably-priced. I take them to the low cost clinics they have once a month. It is half price. You can get vaccines from feed store and give yourself. You have to go to vet or the clinic for rabies vaccines and heart worm testing. Dr Jarret at parker county vet is who does the clinics but I will not use him. He is EXPENSIVE and treats you like dog poop if you don't spend lots of money.

I am looking for a good Veterinarian in the Decatur area that has fair prices and is actually still down to earth.

I have used Dr Reese at Wise County Animal Clinic for almost 20 years for my 2 dogs and have recommended him to several others and never been disappointed. He makes me feel like my dogs are his only patients when we need him.
Malissa F. replied:
Kalista, i have a story about Dr Reese that will fit in with what you are looking for. My sister had a dog that had parvo but couldn't afford all the expensive treatments but still wanted to save her. Dr Reese made arrangements with them so they could give her the shots/meds and worked with them so she could afford whichever way she decided to go. He listened to her and after a few weeks, her dog was back to normal. He really does care about the animals... not the money.

Pet Health Center is top of the line in pet care....just be careful because sometimes cheap turns out to be expensive... both emotionally and cost! I have 4 dogs and have been using them for 5 years...and not 1 bad experience...only happy healthy furbabies!!!!
